I wonder if DGT plays this after having played for several weeks in a row now, and making at least a QF at Gstaad this week.

Hopefully Nicolas or Marc wins this event, but my guess is Bohli, Mannarino or a Spaniard.

I've watched on TV the match Granollers-Huta. In 1st set Huta played better, more consistent, good serve and hitting agressive shots. Granollers began very slow and when he tried to react the dutch didn't give chances to break back.

In 2nd set Granollers served much better and improved his game but lost chances to break him. At 5-4 Huta served to close the match but did a game simply awful including 1 double fault and 3 UE's. Granollers made use of it and even had 1 SP in the last game but Huta corrected it with a winner service. After being in deuce Granollers made a big mistake (easy net volley) and the match was at 6 all.
In TB Huta served really well, choked after leading 5-2 but with 5-5 made a winner service and after Granollers finished it with his only one double fault in the match. Bad final for him.

Obviously Huta is a agressive player and feels comfortable on a really fast court because of high above sea level.
He can advance any round more but surely will play more tie Breaks in next rounds.

Yes, I also could watch on TV that match.

Absolutelly incredible, he's looking for an ace with every serve. But more incredible was that he was about to win.
When they went to TB in 2nd set, my feeling was if Desein had won it he would have been the winner. And he had advantage 6-3 including 1 SP with his own serve.

I've been watching on tv the match Gimeno-Kravchuk. Good fight, both players are pretty consistents. None of them have a great serve but both know how change it continuously. Kravchuk gave me good feelings, isn't a typical crazy russian player, played stable all match with no up and downs although he lost 1st set hardly.

Gimeno is having a peak of form now, feels comfortable on the court and his body language is positive. Kravchuk has to go up his ATP ranking, playing like this he'll defeat many sad players.

Almost definitely an injury. Look at those service statistics. 92% first serves in, with no pace obviously. And winning so few points on return compared to the first two sets. Definitely seemingly injured, with knowing his unfortunate history with injuries in his career, is not surprising.

Adrian proving that he's a level above challengers on this surface when he's going good. Congrats to him. Hopefully DGT wins to set up a high quality final match.

Surprising performances by Millot and especially Mannarino . Another good victory for Gimeno Traver who played five tie breaks of the seven sets he already played.

Gimeno-Traver def. Millot 7-5 6-4

Daniel hit 13 aces, and won 84% of first serve points. Millot had a 3-0 lead in set 1 and 30-30 at 3-0 on DGT's serve; from that point, it was no contest.

adrian has a better future than gimeno for me.

Adrian has a future as a top 30-40 player IMO. Daniel can become a top 10-15 clay court player and should be decent on hard courts given time, so I can see him having a slightly better career. Overall, they are about the same level ability.

Newly Segovia is candidate for Challenger of the year.

Incredible organization, a lot of people going everyday, fantastic installations, good weather and several matches were broadcasted for TV since 1st round. Even foreign players had much support, a group of Dutchs following Huta and some french too.

Besides that, one year more title stays at home.

Congrats DGT!!!
