Straight sets wins

Does anybody have any statistics on the percentage of ATP matches which are won 2-0 rather than 2-1, or in slams 3-0 rather than 3-1 or 3-2?

My gut feeling is that about 65/70% of 3 set matches and about 55/60% of 5 set matches are won in straight sets, but I'd be very interested if anyone has any actual data.

All main tour finals 1968-2010 Wimbledon added. At the bottom you can see 65,3 % of best of 3 goes in straight set and (only) 47,3 % in best of 5. But this is finals only.
Now counting all ATP matches* since 2000:
In 23651 completed best-of-3 matches, 15530 matches went 2-0. (65,7 %)
In 5205 completed best-of-5, 2578 matches went 3-0. (49,5 %)

*Excluding Davis Cup and World Team Cup

That's fantastic info - thank you :worship:

So my instinct was dead right for 3 setters, but I underestimated the losers' performance a bit in 5 setters.
