Poor stuff Thiemo. Couldn't do anything on PHM's serve. Lucky third set win.

I thought it was all over for PHM for the last two years. Good to see him having a nice run here.

Pity that Thiemo couldn`t make it. I expected him to reach 1/8. Congratulations for Paul Henri though.

So glad Mathieu won! Love to see him play when he's doing well

PHM was great, especially mentally.

De Bakker's serve was great, the rest of his game was garbage. Movement and especially returns woeful, unambitious rallying etc

A good swan song for Mathieu.

So glad that PHM is undergoing a bit of a resurgence this Wimbledon :) To be honest I was not totally confident in him backing up the Youzhny win against a player who's been doing well and climbing the rankings of late... Taking him off my avatar probably helped as it seems to be more curse than blessing to whoever ends up there, even though Querrey is currently bucking the trend :p

Is PHM in good form? Looks like a tough, close match (and I didn't see it) so it's hard to tell. I fear for Nadal facing a Mathieu who's playing well (and who has his crazy head under control).

Thiemo should be able to take out PHM on grass, really. Disappointing score.

Allow me one less quality post at the special moments like this. :)

Rafzilla next, could be very interesting match. Haase took him to 5, Picasso took him to 5, why not PHM?

Why exactly? PHM is better off the ground, and an underrated returner. He was in control of the majority of the rallies.

It's clear that De Bakker's movement and returning on this surface aren't too strong.

Thanks for the offer but I'll decline - I like to be original ;) Who is that anyway, or is it even supposed to be someone in particular
