Very good performance from Djokovic and just what he needed after the previous two matches. Montanes wasn't up to much today.

Good performance from Nole but I am not putting too much hope on him just yet. I think the first two sets he was great, and then dipped in the third. You can say I'm maybe being too harsh, but it's happened one to many times with him where he mentally goes away and falters. Looking forward to more consistency from him..

good win and decent performance, but he'll need much more in the coming week.

Call it a coincidence, but the form of Djokovic and Murray seem to have been a mirror image of each other in recent months. It's still early days in the context of the tournament but there is a strong chance at least one of them could upset Fed/Rafa were they to meet in the semis.

Anyway, good to see Novak hitting some form. He's under-rated on grass in my opinion.

Hewitt and (presumably) Roddick will be a much bigger test for Novak, but his last two matches have been pretty good. Winner-UE ratio quite impressive, serving much, much better. I don't expect him to get past A-Rod, but it's encouraging that his form seems to be picking up.

Yep, that's true. Murray and Novak are having parallel careers almost. It's just fortunate that they happen to be my favorite players as well. I'd love to see one of them lifting the Wimbledon trophy anytime soon, preferably Nole. :p

Yeah you're right, he's been beating everyone he's supposed to and losing to who he's supposed to as well, which is the definition of playing like top 10. I was thinking about his awful loss to Safin 2 years ago but I guess his loss to Haas last year wasn't unexpected.

Actually, rankings don't lie, so if he is #3 (for so long) he is playing like #3 at least in consistency. I know it's a very weak #3, but maths doesn't lie, if he is #3 it's because he is the 3rd best player when it comes to win/defend points.

Sure his form sucks, who better than his own fans to realize that, but maths is an exact science.
