Shame Llodra didn't take advantage of all the chances he had :(

Really great match from both players, but Roddick just too tough in the end. He's definitely looking great at the moment, but we'll see if he can keep it up.

Tough luck to Llodra, if he didn't have these mental lapses he'd be incredibly solid in singles at Wimbledon.

He overcame a tough challenge.

Llodra should have broken in the beginning of the 2nd set. Gave away the match with a lousy service game at 4-5 in the end of the 2nd and made a joke of a tb in the 4th!!

Roddick looked like a joke the 2 first sets, to bad Mika had to meltdown as usual.

Not a surprise, as I said Llodra does this all too often.

Well now we all know why you're talking so much crap about Roddick.

...Cept that, according to your logic, Roddick was playing like crap against a really good player, and still won in 4 sets... when Federer played like crap against a realy bad player and.. well.. you know...

What a shame.

Don't think we saw the same match where Llodra blew the 2nd set with lots of chances and went away completely in the third and served bad in the last Tb, Duck didn't do that much!!

It was a really good practice for Roddick.

Oh, FFS shut up. He changed tactics, served and played well overall. Too bad Mika didn't win, but shut the fuck up.

a french guy will very rarely beat a mental giant like roddick.

The French can blame every loss in EVERY SPORT to this guy and I wouldn't be angry.

Llodra was in good form, so a good win definately.

There were very tempting pre-tournament odds of 14-1 for Roddick to win the title here, which I thought were worth taking advantage of.

Why Murray was the 3rd favourite ahead of him I really don't know, considering that only Federer, Nadal and him have contested the past 6 Wimbledon finals.

Llodra with a mental performance to make Domenech and The France Football team proud.

Because Murray is playing at home and has far more gears to his game and Roddick?

Because Murray is playing at home and has far more gears to his game and Roddick?

Murray's Home is miles away from here.

Roddick doesn't need more gears if the gear he's on is more than enough to smack Murray around.

Murray's gears aren't good on grass.

when Llodra had the 2 BP's at start of 2nd set.. and choked them, i knew right then and there he had lost the match

in 1st set he was a Joy to watch, nearest thing to Sampras in his prime

will he beat gashabilli or kohliscriber?? i dont understand why roddick always gets these difficult draws but federer gets players like luczak and brizoljac and falla. i mean, challenger players compared to ATP-level players. why..

Good turnaround from Roddick. We would have been looking at a very different scoreline if he didn't save those two early breakpoints in the second. After that he started to attack and approach more as Llodra was mainly blocking his returns back into play, and Llodra wasn't clutch enough in the tight moments afterwards.

Roddick should have it easier against Kohlschreiber next up.

Good win over in-form Llodra. Glad it didn't go the distance.

Andy should definitely make QF now.
