Good stuff from Lleyton after the first set blip. Finished in style too. Want to see him go as deep as possible, always like the support he gets from the aussies in the crowd at Wimbledon.

Great match player is Rusty. Cleary was still getting familiar with Gonzelez in the first set, wasn't really sure what the guy was capable of. Gonzo was smacking everything for winners, he was really just teeing off on everything and most of the time it paid off.

Thereafter Lleyts really lifted his play, cut down on the simple mistakes, moved his opponent from side to side and just wore him down. Came up with some superb winners too, especially that one on match point. :worship:

good match from Machi anyway, but he is just a Challenger player.

Good match from Lleyton. Let's hope his other matches go quickly; even with his fitness I doubt he can take that many 4-5 setters before burning out.

Surprising Machi could win a set.

Good luck in the next tournaments!

Playing a challenger final on clay the day before isn't exactly great preparation coming into this one for Gonzalez.

Fact that he even won a set is an amazing achievement

good match from Machi anyway, but he is just a Challenger player.

Far from it, he could be a regular top 60, 70 if he remains fit.

Big paycheck for Machi.
