I'm afraid we're at a point where Nalby takes this title from Rios and keeps it for a long time to come

murray, 2 finals, 4 ms titles, beaten fed 6 times, 14 titles overall.

But Murray has yet to reach the semis of all 4 majors or win the YEC/WTF unlike Nalbandian. And Nalbandian has beaten Fed 8 times :)

Nalbandian, USO 03 really changed everything for him, that SF match against Roddick, up 2 sets to 0, had he won that, who knows how he would have played against Ferrero in the final

and also andy murray, not a fan of the guy, but i think he is too talented a player not to win AT LEAST 1 grand slam in his career!

And Nalbandian is 5 years older.

And Nalbandian is 5 years older.

Which is why he shouldn't be discussed in this category as he might just win a grand slam.

But you were comparing him to Murray. ;)

I never said Murray should be in the discussion.

I was just knocking his credentials. I thought the 6 wins over Fed argument was a funny one :)

Did you now? Well maybe 6 wins at 23 years old is better than 8 wins at 28 years old :)

Have a think, and get back to me when you find another excuse :)

Yeah but Murray may not beat Fed 8 times...In fact Fed might have figured out how to play against him (he in fact won their last 3 matches). Also, Nalbandian has actually beaten Federer in 2 grand slam matches and taken a set off him in 2 other grand slam matches, which is 8 sets more than Murray has won against Fed in grand slams :)

I'm very sure Murray will beat him again (if they meet). Federer is way way past it now (unfortunately) and Murray still has many years left in him

And Murray has beaten Nadal in GS twice, something Fatbandian can't say

Nadal and Nalbandian have never met in a grand slam though, so I don't really see the point of your argument. Unless 2-2 (the head to head between Nadal and Murray in grand slams) is apparently better than 0-0 :)

Since when is Nadal the measuring stick? You know, the player who according to you was lucky to fluke out two non-clay Slams

I would say it is,yes.Nadal's GS winning percentage is much higher than 50% even on HC.

Murray's not the answer but he is a better option than some listed.

murray beat fed at his worst, nalbandian beat him at his best.

Anyway, Murray is better than Fatbandian  Murray has earned $2 million more than Fatbandian and he's 5 years younger  I would say that and the fact Andy's won more titles and been more consistent means he's better.

Since when is Nadal the measuring stick? You know, the player who according to you was lucky to fluke out two non-clay Slams  He was lucky, doesn't mean beating him isn't a good feat
