That would be two tanks in a row, after his 1st round loss in Halle last week. Somehow I'm not buying it.

6-1? for a grand slam finalist?

I watched it. His serve was shit, I think the percentages were in the 30's for the first serve. And, he never applied any serious pressure on Luczak's service games. Marcos chose a bad time to be slumping.

in the 2nd set he obviously tanked
he tried in the first, lost his rythym and decided not to fight back

btw, it was more a tank today than in halle

he usually after he gets very dissapointed after a hard fought but lost set ,then plays very bad in the next.:( But I wouldn't go as far as calling it tanking.

Nope, it's more a matter of a negative mindset. I think the fellow is just in a massive slump right now - what a timing, just before Wimbly. :bigcry:

Get used to it. Fatty is done. Better pick up a hotdog and try competitive eating as his new sport.

Expected loss to be honest. He was in Cyprus doing watersports a few days ago while on a "training break". He's having a Nalbandian "moment" in his career :p

As for the haters: Get a life, at least Baghdatis has one :smoke:

You guys don't have a fucking clue!
Marcos was stopped in the airport because they thought he had a fake passport and they bothered him all week and he probably was just pissed off and wanted to get the hell out of there

And he lost a lot of weight actually, but he got injured in Halle so that's another reason why he lost ;)

looking at baggys twitter, he states he is waiting for his pasta for dinner, chicken soup, late night snacks, cooking chicken for lunch, saying that he had too much pizza the other day, enjoying sushi for lunch. My god half his tweetrs are about his food or getting massages :o

Baggy's tweets during the early clay season were fun, pizza and beers, then flopping hard on court. Why not though? He's useless on clay.

Kinda bad timing for the grass though, with his draw he could make R16 easily, +180 points, defends nothing Canada/Cinci too. Easy for him to crack top16 with some halfway decent form in the next few months, and the seedings benefits that brings.

6 out of 61 o his tweets are about food
A lot of other tennis players talk about food. And FYI, most athletes eat pasta because it is very healthy for you ;)

One convincing win in the first round could change his fortunes at the Wimbledon. Lacko should be a cakewalk.

I think he had some personal issues in June. Looked completely disinterested on court.

Has come a long way since this pathetic loss.

Final at Washington, semi final in a masters tournament, beating Nadal and top 20.
Congrats Marcos.

Luczak is now where he undoubtedly belongs.
Outside the top 100.

Um, no. He's definitely no worse than guys like Cuevas, Granollers, Greul, Riba. So if they are top 100 then Peter undoubtedly should be.
