Good Luck to Pedro Sousa, Gonçalo Pereira and Manuel Cavaco...

Good opportunity to these weaker portuguese players that doesn't have place in DC team, to show some quality in a Challenger MD. But i think they all will be eliminated is 1st round, but let's hope i'm wrong...

There's a little chance to Pedro but i don't think that he can beat Cipolla.

Flavio :clap2: But he's in the toughest section.

Time for Galvani to just retire, I think. :(

QF match. Great first set displayed by Charlie where he won 6-4 against Pere . The remarkable note was when Charlie was serving for the set and on a twinkle of an eye he found himself 0-40. He served and volleyed efectivelly twice to put things 30-40. And served and put a great stop volleyed to level on 40. Then changed ryhtms on the next points with two great drop shots to win 6-4 :D. Will see what happens on the next set. Still Pere is my favourite to win it but my heart is with Charlie hehe :p

Great victory for Charlie against Riba who was the favourite in advance. On the 2nd set he kept changing the rythms of the game with drop shots, shooting winners, going to the net, etc... Great strategy displayed :wavey:

Hard worked victory for Charlie :yeah:. He took one of two break points chances to win the first set. He struggled to keep his serve when they were rallying at 3-3 onthe 2nd set and Ramos Vinolas looked frustrated after that. Charlie took credit of that situation, broke Ramos to lead 4-3 and served without many troubles to win 6-4 the match.

I know that Berlocq is just a claycourt pusher who in recent times worked on his first serve and forehand (he is winning more points with them than he used to do it in the past). He can be ranked on the top 70-80 in the world and played some ATP and the challenger tour aswell). I know that he is not that big talent but I admire when a player know his weapons and weaknesses and know how to focus it schedule to develop their game and ranking towards it .

Flavio really should not be losing to Fabbiano/Trujillo-Soler in doubles :help:

Flavio really should not be losing to Fabbiano/Trujillo-Soler in doubles :help:

I expect more of Flavio on singles than on doubles matches as his serve sucks. He could develop a serve a la Puerta (his style of serving is so similar) and he is such a talent! but he is too unstable during matches which is under my opinion his worse department

I'm so happy for him, he really worked hard!

Congrats for Charlie and for this new challenger title that will situate him close to the top 100 :). Gimeno Traver looked quite hurry in the end to finish the match as soon as possible as the WC Cup final was already starting :haha:
