Sam u fucking legend!

Avenges both his GS R1 losses this year as well by beating Ginepri and now Schuettler.

NOTE: For the 1st 2 sets Sam practically had no ROS whatsoever :o

Forehand miss at 30-30 on Querrey's serve late in the second set ended up being massive. Schuettler then went on to lose his next two service games and with them, the match.

I've never been a fan of his or anything, but it is a shame as I think the final with Schuettler would have been a bit more entertaining. Plus his backhand is gorgeous.

Congrats to Sam :)

If Sam can serve like he did against Ginepri, at 95% first serves in that 2nd set and 10 aces overall, he could be hard for Fish/Lopez to beat ;)

Great job by Querrey the 250 tournament king. The only question now is will he lose first round at Wimbledon or lose 2nd round?

Querrey could beat both Federer and Nadal in a 250 event, I'm sure of it, what I'm not sure of is if he can beat Óscar Hernández at Wimbledon, now that I don't know...
kinell Sam do well at a slam for a change will ya?

The unfortunate thing is that this should really be a 500....

kinell Sam do well at a slam for a change will ya?Hehe, but yeah I totally agree, in these 250 events he's just so open and free to play the tennis he wants, while in Grand Slams he always seems to be tight.

:haha: Well lets hope he doesn't draw King Oscar R1 then ;)

A tight match. The German looked tired in the decider while Sammy's big serve and steady groundstrokes bailed him out on the big points.
