well done federer!
this is how great champions perform.
not like how our rafa performed today with a lack of care and no respect for the number 1 ranking and just brining up unecessary injuries we are all tired of hearing.

i wont be disappointed at all if roger gets back the number 1 ranking, i think the guy that respects that position should hold it.
i was happy rafa held it, but he doesnt care for it much and it seems to be too much pressure for him to handle that top position.
and lets face it, federer is the current holder of the aussie open, wimbledon and US open finalist.
rafa has only won the french.
roger deserves the number 1 ranking.
hope he breaks sampras' record.

Great from Roger :yeah:

Just enough time to watch South Africa's game earlier today before he got out on court. Probably would've been a straight set bagel if SA had won

This thread is about FEDERER, not Nadal, stick to topic please. There's already a thread for you to display your lack of knowledge about rankings and talk about Nadal all you want.

Anyways, good match from Federer, hope he gets to meet Hewitt. There's probably only one winner, but it should be interesting.

Yes, Fed respected the #1 very much between AO and Madrid.

even as a Federer fan i am really sick of some fans dragging rafa into the discussion every time. there really is no need for the comparison. both r great champions and either's achievements wont take away the other's. its not a zero sum game.

Gotta stand by this. It's funny to trow the occassional Rafa joke once in a while but it's been getting ridiculous lately to the point that now it's almost pathetic.
