Cilic/Sa 6-1 6-4 Geo 06-10-2010, 06:46 PM :spit: :o pathetic from Cilic. he seems to be a hardcourt specialist. gorgo1986 06-10-2010, 06:51 PM Cilic is simply not ready for the big stages. He is very inconsistent, has a great game for grass but still needs time to develop. Good effort by Llodra Sapeod 06-10-2010, 06:55 PM Fuglic :haha: Sophocles 06-10-2010, 07:07 PM Needs to beat this type of opponent - relatively low ranked but good on the surface - to be a contender on grass. scoobs 06-10-2010, 07:39 PM The bad results on clay I can sorta understand but on grass Cilic has no real excuses. Good effort from Mika, nice to see him get some decent results, but Cilic on a good day should have had this. tumbak 06-10-2010, 07:42 PM Lame player, lol at the mug saying he's one of the favs in Wimbledon. allpro 06-10-2010, 07:43 PM Frenchies and Cilic never fail to disappoint.......advantage Cilic here. Filo V. 06-10-2010, 07:48 PM Very expected win. Llodra is a better player on this surface and the conditions today give him an even bigger advantage on grass. Congrats to Mika on today! samanosuke 06-10-2010, 08:02 PM Leave Cilic alone . He is improving day after day . This year he lost the same number of breakers in two matches like last year in one match Voo de Mar 06-10-2010, 08:06 PM Leave Cilic alone . He is improving day after day . This year he lost the same number of breakers in two matches like last year in one match  BTW, with last year's match he "lost" to a weak tie-breaker (26-56 on the main tour) like Mahut 6-7 6-7 6-7 ;) Sophocles 06-10-2010, 08:08 PM With Federer & Roddick on the decline, Davydenko & Del Potro injured, Djokovic slumping, Murray erratic, Cilic stalling, & other youngsters such as Gulbis failing to make a breakthrough, Nadal is inheriting a very secure crown. The Magician 06-10-2010, 08:11 PM Leave Cilic alone . He is improving day after day . This year he lost the same number of breakers in two matches like last year in one match :worship:samanosuke:worship: you deserve this loss for all your hard work :yeah: samanosuke 06-10-2010, 08:12 PM  BTW, with last year's match he "lost" to a weak tie-breaker (26-56 on the main tour) like Mahut 6-7 6-7 6-7 ;) It's really fascinating to watch the way how he is playing breakers . When you think that you saw everything from him he finds another rabbit from hat . It's really hard to describe someone who didn't see his level of play . But when you see his mickey mouse serve the things get very simple The Magician 06-10-2010, 08:14 PM Oh and this loss, like every Cilic loss is dedicated to Oranges :wavey: Mr. Oracle 06-10-2010, 08:19 PM Leave Cilic alone . He is improving day after day . This year he lost the same number of breakers in two matches like last year in one match LOL Cilic - Feet as big as a diver's flippers- always trips over them. Wrong profession. Try clown. samanosuke 06-10-2010, 08:19 PM Oh and this loss, like every Cilic loss is dedicated to Oranges :wavey: I am recommending to you if you love your own life don't mention her name again . She will make virtual **** on you . She will never leave you alone . You have some time to edit you post and write how Cilic is a nice guy and true champion . Save your life mate oranges 06-10-2010, 08:20 PM Pretty much expected and utterly irrelevant. Needless to say, if he won, samanosuke would again be singing the 'running for no points tune'. It's one of those win/win situations for him. Come Wimbledon QF, he'll be contemplating whether he'll have to follow in Everko's footsteps and pretend he never made clownish promises. oranges 06-10-2010, 08:22 PM Oh and this loss, like every Cilic loss is dedicated to Oranges :wavey: Isner is still just a serve and a mug. Love you too  samanosuke 06-10-2010, 08:22 PM Oh It's too late mate oranges 06-10-2010, 08:24 PM ^^ Make it in Latin, you'll look smart  peribsen 06-10-2010, 08:26 PM Leave Cilic alone. You can not be serious croat123 06-10-2010, 10:17 PM tbs  oh well, get ready for Wimbledon rhinooooo 06-10-2010, 10:40 PM The bad results on clay I can sorta understand but on grass Cilic has no real excuses. Good effort from Mika, nice to see him get some decent results, but Cilic on a good day should have had this. I don't really agree. Llodra on a fast, low bouncing surface like this has a great game to test most players. If he can give guys like Tsonga, Soderling, Berdych etc real trouble on the fast surfaces, then he's definitely going to be a tough one for Cilic. Har-Tru 06-10-2010, 11:43 PM Grass isn't suited for these giants. Not enough time to prepare the ballbash. daddy 06-11-2010, 12:22 AM ^^ Make it in Latin, you'll look smart  :haha::haha::haha: orangehat 06-11-2010, 12:23 AM Mika :rocker2: paseo 06-11-2010, 12:29 AM And some poster were saying that Cilic will win Wimbledon. Right. Guy Haines 06-11-2010, 03:14 AM Ouch, Marin. I know Llodra can play on grass, but this result is disappointing. Arkulari 06-11-2010, 03:26 AM what I don't understand is how someone as tall as Cilic has such a crappy serve and disgraceful TB record :o oranges 06-11-2010, 05:11 AM what I don't understand is how someone as tall as Cilic has such a crappy serve and disgraceful TB record :o He just likes confusing the hell out of MTF. It's fun being called for crappy serve when you're among the top on all serve stats. Arkulari 06-11-2010, 05:22 AM   but you might be right ;) http://www.atpworldtour.com/Rankings/MatchFacts.aspx his TB record speaks for itself, specially when you know he works with Ivanisevic :p ossie 06-11-2010, 08:54 AM this cilic is one of the most inconsistent motherfuckers ive ever seen, keep your vcash in your wallets kiddos StatRacket 06-11-2010, 11:42 AM Cilic has only won 1 out of last 11 tie-breaks he played :o What an awful stat for the world number 12. Guy is the best volleyer in the game and when he isnt tanking matches hes one tough nut to crack on fast low bouncing courts oranges 06-11-2010, 01:56 PM and you think that for someone who wants to be somebody easy loss against player who plays good tennis a week or two yearly isn't a bad thing ? You'd rather that, this time, he ran for a week for no points? It gets confusing. When he needed some match wins to get back on track, you couldn't stop laughing you ass off that he made the final, now that he doesn't particularly need it, he should have done his best to go deep. Either way, no need for you to fuss, unlike some of his compatriots, he won't be amassing lame losses first round in slams year after year to the likes of Falla, the grass king. malisha 06-11-2010, 02:04 PM Good effort from Mika, nice to see him get some decent results, but Cilic on a good day should have had this. disagree you are heavily underrating Mika here samanosuke 06-11-2010, 02:05 PM no have you ever seen on fire Mika? Guy is the best volleyer in the game and when he isnt tanking matches hes one tough nut to crack on fast low bouncing courts Yes, I understand that but every week you can see matches like this ."better" or the best players against on fire guys and great players find a way to win these matches . about these situations I am talking and in these kind of matches not matter if the on fire guy is #50 or #1 Cilic loses every time . He can't find a way going toe to toe against guy on fire and get over him in finish of the set malisha 06-11-2010, 02:10 PM Yes, I understand that but every week you can see matches like this ."better" or the best players against on fire guys and great players find a way to win these matches . about these situations I am talking and in these kind of matches not matter if the on fire guy is #50 or #1 Cilic loses every time . He can't find a way going toe to toe against guy on fire and get over him in finish of the set can see your point but i cannot agree with you Cilic had some bad losses this year but this just isnt one of them conditions suited Mika..he was serving well and played sharp on important points..he was just too good samanosuke 06-11-2010, 03:22 PM Now when Fish schools Mika , Cilic's loss is even more pathetic oranges 06-11-2010, 03:24 PM No, it isn't, it's just you samanosuke 06-11-2010, 03:25 PM Some people still fighting with ghosts oranges 06-11-2010, 03:27 PM Some still bitching incessantly about players they supposedly don't care about. Nothing new under the sun. oranges 06-11-2010, 03:29 PM BTW, you seem to be avoiding the question, why should have he done any better given that you thought a run to the final in Munich was dumb beyond belief? | |
