Watched only 2nd set. Thiemo looked like an all about serve guy who couldn't be consistent enough to take some kind of advantage in a rally. Hewitt was really OK, held his serves to 0 or to 15 easily.

The scoreline doesn't indicate how one-sided this match was. Lleyton breezed through his serve games by serving very well, especially in the second set. Thiemo lost pretty much all extended rallies and looked very slow afoot. Lleyton was solid and offensive when the opportunities presented themselves. Very impressive from Lleyton.

He's the favorite to play Roger in the final from the bottom half.

Very true. Thiemo is too inconsistent in long rallies and that's just the strenght of Lleyton. I think Lleyton is one of the most difficult players to face for Thiemo. Now good luck for Llegs. Hopefully he win the title here.

On grass the footwork of Thiemo isn't good enough yet, or will never be..

Thiemo said that he didn't had a chance and that Hewitt is a good example to see how to play on grass.

Next week Rosmalen, he could win some matches there, weak field.

It's that time of year again...the time where Hewitt doesn't look like a completely average player. Good to see him keeping his grass form against the all-serve de Bakker.

Hewitt should be S&Ving more on grass. His baseline game won't do any damage.
