Players who have won more than one grand slam without dropping a set

Congratulations to Nadal for winning a 5h Roland Garros title.

He has now won 2 slams without dropping a set. 2008 French Open, and 2010 French open. Roger Federer did this once in 2007, at the Australian Open, I know Beeyon Borg did it at least once at the French Open, how does this stack up against other players in the open era?

Could Rafael potentially break the record for the most grand slams won without dropping a set? What about making the most slam finals without dropping a set? I know hes done this at least one other time at the French. Federer made the 2008 Wimbledon final without dropping a set. Any other times apart from 2007 Australian Open he did this?

When you think about it, although no one talks about this statistic in terms of the GOAT, it is one hell of an acomplishment!

Roger Federer in 2007 was the first since Borg in over 25 years to win any slam without dropping a set, lord knows how long since a hardcourt slam was won without dropping a set.

Does anyone have any more detailed information on these statistics?

Rosewall won only 5 matches, not 7, in 1971, Nastase won 7 matches but first two round were "the best of three".

I think it's a good additional info to rate more achievements of Borg, Federer and Nadal :)

True!

And I really wasn't thinking about this much (just wanted so badly that 7th Grand Slam for my beloved player) but this is really exclusive group of players

USO is toughest slam then?

No, just the one where a hot ballbasher like Bird Bitch or Gulbis or Monfils can fluke a set.

Thanks.

Perhaps the USO is the toughest slam to dominate then?
