I saw Jr. Ore play several times when he was about 12-13 years old and knew he had potential to be very good - glad to see it. IF he is as good a guy now as he was as then, even happier for him.

I'm sure a lot of school want him. Maybe he'll try the college route for a while. Like Tennys Sangren, wimbly semi-finalist (I think) or was it finalist last year just lost the team NCAA's. Hard to believe he played #3 or #4 on the loosing NCAA team and did so well at Gran Slam - shows jsut how deep US college tennis is.

That's true. But Miami is his top school of interest according to his recruiting page. He should go to college for a couple years for sure though.

Sandgren lost in R2 last year. You're confusing him with Britton (same age) or with Cox.

What a mug this Berta is. What the hell was that, losing too Ore. Who the hell is Ore anyway? Hideous loss.

Great job Junior! He and I train together at College Park in Maryland, he is a great, great kid with a beautiful game. Classic one-handed backhand.

I saw this match on the draw and like it for Ore's name alone. The A. between Junior and Ore especially. It's better than Tennys Sandgren.

The fact that he upset the first seed and defending champ is even better.
