They're with watermarks, but Hasenkopf always has a lot of nice pics of the German players on his website (there also are a few rights free pics at the top, for example: http://www.hasenkopf.ndedit.com/imagebank/flex/dot/list/hasenkopf/public/Tennis%20in%20Bayern/Spieler%20A-Z/K/Kohlschreiber_Philipp - "Download full image" to get rid of the watermark).

I was so freezing on Monday! I was wearing a pullover and a jacket, but after just one match I headed for the shops of the "village" to buy another sweater. And even wrapped up like that, I was looking enviously at the blankets they had in the VIP boxes.

I'll upload individual pictures later. At the moment, I uploaded everything to my dropbox. You can see most of the pictures I took on Monday of everybody.
Looks like there's a little bit more greenery this year than last year (for example in the pics of Kohli and other players stretching in the passage between the training courts), but it's still very grey. Did you like the venue?
05-12-2010, 08:17 PM
i finished worked early today and I went to the Madrid open too. I will upload more picture soon. Thinking to go tomorrow too because there is a promotion for the AS Vicaro court...15 euros all week and the court is small and intimate. :)
Overall, I like the venue. It's very futuristic with a bit of nature mixed in. In terms of fan-friendliness, I like Indian Wells better. More practice courts and very very accessible. But then I have only been to three tennis tournaments in my life so maybe my evaluation is limited.

he is so cute!

I took a picture with him on the practice court (he was really nice to everyone). I used the picture as my profile pic on facebook and all my friends were like he's so hawt. One of my friends even said that he lost in the first round because beauty and being good at sports don't go hand in hand.
I might be a few rare people that thinks he's average looking.
05-18-2010, 07:20 PM
his eyes make him stand out!
05-18-2010, 07:25 PM
I think he looks better in person than in pics, he was looking fine when I saw him in Munich, he had a nice tan, he was all smile... Now I wouldn't drool over him, I find him normal looking.
I've never heard people say he's particularly good looking.
But I've never heard people comment on his looks, TBH.
A few pics of his Düsseldorf nightmare, against Chardy:

I just read that in the GM thread and I was precisely looking for a video of the match point because I hadn't paid attention to it this afternoon, but all the videos I found stop just before the handshake.
Their match is the match of the day for Eurosport, but the video doesn't show the handshake either.

I hadn't seen there are no pics of the grass season at all yet - here are at least a few Wimby ones:
Fair Play Trophy awarded to two players
For the first time two players have been elected for the traditional Fair Play Trophy, awarded since 1988 on the occasion of the ATP World Team Championship at the Duesseldorf Rochusclub, during the 2011 POWER HORSE WORLD TEAM CUP. The eight team captains and the international tennis journalists elected Sweden’s Robin Soderling, 26, and Germany’s Philipp Kohlschreiber, 27, for their exemplary behaviour on and off the court. Soderling and Kohlschreiber share the 24th award of the valuable Challenge Cup. Australia’s 2002 Wimbledon champion Lleyton Hewitt was the last recipient in 2010.
The Trophy was awarded by Tournament Director Dietloff von Arnim and Thomas Koenigsbauer, CEO of the new title sponsor Power Horse, after the first singles on Center Court I.
