First set was pretty enjoyable imo, Tsonga even had the bp at 4-4. Needed too high a consistent level from him just to stay with Ferrer though.

Ferru was solid and Tsonga has never been all that good on clay. The result was never in doubt.

It seems like Tsonga's always failing when he's gotta go to the next level. Always trumbles at the first hurdle (but when he's facing Djokovic). DAYUM.

Actually, Jo made it very competitive until the end of the first set. A blip there and couldn't keep it up in the second at all, but the first set was not a routine everyone implies at all

This match was simply a reflection of the difference in level of Tsonga and Ferrer on clay. Totally expected.
