Wimbledon has had the best finals.

Man, that kuerten-Norman final should have gone to a fifth set with Norman winning it. How many match points did he save in the fourth set?? 12? :(

But to answer the question, it is definitely Wimbledon.

better finals at US Open,

then AO, Wimbledon and Roland Garros

Pirata.

Wimbledon and USO.

Although I think AO definitely produces the best quarter and semifinals. Roddick/El Aynaoui, Safin/Federer, Nadal/Verdasco...

Roland Garros.

Guga's finals, Gaudio and Nadal-Puerta. PROPER clay court tennis.

Wimbledon is the only one that doesn't feel anti-climactic sometimes. The other Slams often have very good semifinals, and the final just doesn't live up to expectations. Wimbledon always has that sense that you're playing for history.

3 in a row. The Fedal final from the year before was pretty epic, but it gets overshadowed because the one the following year was the supposed "best match ever" lol!

In my opinion, Wimbledon has had the most classic finals of the past decade.

Wimbledon is where history is made. No doubt about that. And it's my favorite tournament because the audience is so quiet and polite.

But if given the choice, I'd rather see the US Open final. At least you see some different faces there.

Curiously enough, that's one of the reasons why Wimbledon is my least favourite GS.

Agreed. But do one on the 90's - Wimbledon finals were borefests for most of that decade.

it's interesting that on each GS in last 10 years we have 6 differnt champions
and on 3 of them we have extra dominant player, on forth there are 2 with 3 titles. it's always about one (sometimes rwo) players
