What's wrong with the top100? Should they retire?

Awful things happening. Just look at the top players:

Federer: Can't even win matches against Baghdatis or Berdych. Should just retire as the nr.1 before he embarrasses himself in further tournaments.

Djokovic: Even worse than Federer, fluking his ranking with lucky draws. Lost against midget Rochus. Made over 40 UEs in 16 games against Verdasco in Monte Carlo.

Nadal: Hadn't won a tournament from Rome 2009 to Monte Carlo 2010. Beefs his ranking up with clay tournaments and then is a mug for the rest of the year. Knees can't handle even playing on clay now.

Del Potro: Guy has been injured since his epic fluke win over Federror in the 2009 US Open. He's probably realized that he won't win any more and is just biding his time before the retirement decision.

Murray: Can't get over his GS final loss and frankly has realized that he was at his peak there, no chance for further GS finals.

Davydenko: See Del Potro, minus the Slam. Was the favorite to win AO, was kicking Fed's arse and then promptly choked. Last chance: GONE.

Roddick: Top ten is sucking and RoboRod is fluking TMS wins, yet still promptly outside the top5. No development whatsoever in years.

Söderling: Riding the fluke, will bomb badly after the French Open. Should retire before embarrasses himself there.

Verdasco: Lost 0 and 1 at a TMS final. Humiliating. Should've retired earlier already. No chance for any major wins for this headcase.

Tsonga: The epitome of ballbashing. Lost to Nadal on HC, several times in fact since his one fluke win. Huge headcase and, most importantly, French.

Cilic: After fluking his way into the semifinals of the AO over injured players, lost a set 6-0 on HC to GGL. Nuff said. Retire.

Any player after that: Choker/Pusher/Moonballer/Ballbasher. Common denominator? All mugs.

So whaddaya think, should the top100 retire to give the spotlight to the less experienced players? At least we would have an excuse why everyone sucks since the nr.1 is really the nr. 101

 i hope your bing sarcastic here and just posting all this for fun and in that case im guilty of falling into the trap.

but if your serious your being stupid.

1. until federer starts losing in the grand slams to these guys then i'll hold off on telling him to retire.

2. he's young and going through some things..or maybe he was over rated to begin with who knows

3. dont like him so i dont care

4. this is the most rediculous thought on a player BAR NONE

5. same as # 3

6. dont deny that his last chance for a slam is gone but when hes on he has proven he can beat anyone out there still. There is no reason he needs top think about retiring.

7. like davydenko he can still beat anyone on his day and can compete with everyone, rediculous to thinh he should retire.

8. pretty stupid post there

9 and 10 - hate them both and wouldnt mind seeing both fade away but they wont and they still have alot of talent, whether they are head cases or not.

11 - youngest guy in the top 100 but yeah he should retire grow up.
,

in summary wether i like them or not there is no need for anyone of these players to retire yet. Infact the fact that federer, davydenko and roddick are some og the oldest players in the top 100 and yet still in the top 10 proves just how good they are.

Of course top 100 should all retire and the rankings should look like this:
1) Bogdanovic - biggest hope of England, top 50 material
2) Dent - S&V King, could win wimbledon 30 years ago
3) Ginepri - simply the US captain, the guy who can still finish the year in top 100 despite winning only 6 matches
4) Odesnik - true doper of our time, Odesnik + HGH >>> Canas + any doping
5) Guccione - the greatest active aussie
6) Karanusic - simply legend, no comments needed
7) Witten - simply best forehand of open era + so good that can still reach USO R3 despite being like 120 kg
8) Lu - the leader of taipei diaspora
9) Young - once double bagelled by Berlocq on hard - always a legend
10) Norman - good big Dick, still winning Challengers aged like 40

Glorious thread.

This era is plagued by fakers, chokers, fixers, tankers, losers and mugs of all kinds. No wonder Federer is dominating it and keeping his number 1 ranking in this weak era.

Good idea. We should go one step further and make the seniors tour the regular tour. This era consists of all mugs, chokers, pushers, ballbashers, moonballers etc. anyway.

Of course the top 99 should retire.

I noticed Oscar's ranking lying perilously at 100, lets hope he doesnt fall out as he's the only one keeping the top 100 in order. lets pray for the grass court season asap so the King can get some well needed ranking points.

He has been suffering this year with disc problems, though it seems that has settled down. Just needs a few wins to make sure direct entry for Wimbledon.

Why stop at top 11? Most of the top 100 are mugs as you say.

Gonzalez: "What happened to you man? Your ass used to be beautiful."

Youzhny: I salute you not, Colonel. Time to win something larger than Mickey Moscow.

Berdych: So what have you been up to the last couple of years? Weren't you the next big thing?

Ljubicic: Legend.

Ferrero: So when are you and Rafa going to marry?

Ferrer: I think Rafa is up for a ménage ā trois. Or quatre.

Monfils: Cool hair won't win you slams.

Stepanek: Too sexy for the tour.

Robredo: The saviour of tenni...

Haas: Americas (second) finest.

Isner: The roof is the limit.

Querrey: How to not make it in tennis outside of America. And still be #23.

Monaco: Berrer on clay?

Simon: So that Sunrise scheme didn't fly, huh?

Wavrinka: So are you pissed at Roger for not committing to DC or what?

Meltzer: Who's winning the WTA-race? You or Sexy?

Kohlschreiber: German journeyman #1.

Montanes: See Querrey. Replace America with clay.

Baghdatis: :D
