Well it's Soderking first match on clay this year so I think he'll only get better from now on.

5-4 40-15 Chela in 2nd, massive choke. But decent first clay match for Sod.

Rusty Hardcourt Robin great that he kept his calm and took the chance when Chela Choked a bit and started cutting down the UE!!

Offcourse Lopez in the next match is no dream when still rusty but Lopez is in pretty the same situation, i think Chela was more dangerous.

Choke? Soderling saved the two set points with two backhand winners. The match rested on whether he hit winers or errors, Chela did nothing.

I know Robin was poor during both his SF matches at Indian Wells/Miami, but he really has become solid mentally overall.

Congrats to Robin on his win today, hope he wins the tournament.

Chela was Robin's biggest threat before the semis, that's how easy his quarter is lol. I fully expect Robin win his next 2 matches much easier, and we'll see where we go from there. Keep it up, Robin!! :)

Chela didn't choke, Errorling just started playing like Soderking when Chela had sps.

Good win - bit of a pita playing your first clay match, against a confident opponent, in slow night conditions, with a dodgy knee to worry about.

He has a decent draw too, with Berdy out of his half, and no Nadal waiting in the final.

I told you Chela will be tough. With some luck it would be a threesetter here.

Exactly! People talking about choke like Chela served DF or make stupid UE or something. Certinfy, you dissapointed me.

It wasn't only at the set points. He lost serve at 5-6 in both sets, so he lost his three biggest service games in the match. It's clay, but a small choke is not entirely off.
