Recouderc's match was scheduled for today in the afternoon and has been suspended until tomorrow.
And is rescheduled in 4th turn !!!!!... so tomorrow will be suspended again because of the rain.

IMO is a big mistake, you can't allow a match is played 2 days after. If is suspended, it must be played in 1st or 2nd turn the next day.

That is a really atrocious loss for Martin but I will just go on the assumption of fatigue from last week. But he can't have any weeks like this if he wants to continue to advance his ranking.

Bjorn, I expect you to make the final. If you lose to Kamke I'll throw up. Have a good week for once, dammit.

Simone, Gaba, good expected wins. Keep it going.

Dustin, you need to get off clay as soon as possible. It just isn't for you.

Potito, good performance. But you don't need this event like others do so hopefully you lose to Gaba in the QF.

I can't understand why play in outdoor conditions if weather predictions show rain all week.

In some places it's possible to avoid this. The only thing you get is an awful tournament suspending matches every day, without public and players thinking about get out of there as soon as possible.

EDIT: I guess Potito was suspended until tomorrow trying they can play in outdoor. But, I'm afraid it won't be possible again. --> CONFIRMED, OOP of tomorrow was edited: Potito in 1st turn.

Good win for Polaco indeed, considering he's been injured and the season he's had outside of one tournament. Unexpected against Potito in Italy. Probably good for Gaba, I think he'll beat JPB tomorrow.

I wholly expect Bjorn to make the final, and play either Gaba or Lorenzi. I don't see Simone winning over Lorenzi unless he plays better, but he sure as heck needs to win a match like that if he wants to get back to where he was and keep the positive momentum of previous weeks continuing.

Bah. He is the only player who really fights for Italy in Davis Cup, and has an amazing 12-1 record in Davis Cup singles rubbers: this is honour for me... With little talent he managed to reach top30: I'd give him credit for this...

Yes, but he only plays 1/10 matches + Davis Cup. In Spain we have another example, Feli Lopez but Potito is even more lazy.

To lose matches like yesterday makes him a sad or pathetic player. Playing in front of your public and to be pulled out by a semi-injuried player...when it repeates one and other time the only thing I can feel is shame to him because he should win 62 62. Other players with less skills fight each ball, but this guy is simply earning money in a pathetic way.

Bolelli, Phau and Kindlmann won their QF matches. Right now Simone and Gaba are playing, it's in a tiebreak for the first set.

Simone won the first set 7-6 (2). This match, I love both, but a win in Italy would really do even more for Simone's confidence.

Bolelli won 7-6(2) 6-4. He's really starting to get his game back.

Phau and Kindlmann are 1-1 in sets, Bjorn won the first 7-6(3), Kindlmann won the second 6-4. Come on Bjorn, win this match!

I didn't think Bjorn could win, but he totally took Simone out of his game and forced him to make errors. He played really well and had his great shotmaking going good.

Fuck yes, Bjorn. What a much needed tournament for you. One more good event in the next months, you are back in the top 100, hope he keeps the momentum going for RG qualifying. This is going to help with his draw and seeding too.

As for Simone, he also had a good week, and he's starting to get back to the level he needs to be. I expect big things from him in the next few weeks.

Both of these guys are dangerous in the qualifying draw, and to anyone who draws them in the main draw at the French if they make it through.
