it looked decent last time too :p
i actually think he has it pretty tough after round 2

03-22-2010, 08:42 PM
Last time looked like cakewalk to quarters  This one is not, but nothing he can't handle if he's up to it. I'm positive, hopefully for a reason.

03-22-2010, 10:34 PM
GL Marin! Not against Marcos though :p

03-22-2010, 11:06 PM
It seems like he should make it past the second round easy! But then again last week was .But I still have confidence in my Marin! And Marcos Baghdatis could be a hard match for Marin but I think that all depends on how Marcos plays.I like Baghdatis and i am very happy to see him playing good again but I really hope Marin and can beat him if he makes it to the third round.

I hope that he does do well this time. Although I maintain that it wasn't his fault last time, it was the court, the crowd and possibily cheating by the other one. In spite of the lack of evidence, I still believe it.

03-23-2010, 02:15 PM
it's all depend on marin
but chill out, he is in top 10. that's enough for now
he "just" needs big run in RG and W and that's all. all above of that is plus

03-23-2010, 10:36 PM
i just hope he plays better than last week...that was such a disaster

03-24-2010, 09:01 AM
I think he will do fine. IW was a disaster because I opened the thread.

03-27-2010, 09:25 PM
Good showing, Marin :yeah:

70% first serve  I think I saw it only once before

Should be a good match with Marcos :rocker:

03-27-2010, 09:33 PM
That was lovely :worship:

03-27-2010, 10:30 PM
WOW  well done Marin :worship:!!!Good luck against Marcos .

03-28-2010, 12:08 PM
i was there and marin was on fire. robert played well to hang in there early, but it was just too much from marin. every ball he hit was hard and deep. really should have been a bagel.

03-29-2010, 10:20 PM
Marin won 63 64 :woohoo:.Very very well done Marin!I have no idea who he plays next .

03-29-2010, 10:23 PM
Oh either Verdasco or Melzer..

03-29-2010, 11:05 PM
both will be tough...good luck marin!

03-30-2010, 09:48 PM
Come on Marin, make the QFs! :D

03-30-2010, 11:51 PM
 No traces of good play from previous two rounds. Struggled throughout and went down. I'm not entirely sure the pin him on the BH, else play down the middle was the best strategy. I'd rather he went for dictating the rally more often as he usually does.

Onto the clay season, MC is next for him.

He really does fade in these US tournaments:sad:

He really does fade in these US tournaments:sad:

He'll make up in the ones leading to USO ;) I doubt IW and Miami will ever be his favorites, but he should be able to do a bit better. As long as he makes good on the clay swing, he can still earn some nice points before Wimby

03-31-2010, 03:53 AM
I hope so. I wish he reaches at least a SF in one of the clay masters.

03-31-2010, 01:48 PM
not aggressive enough. he really hasn't played well on these slow hardcourts. oh well, on to MC

03-31-2010, 10:53 PM
Marin why ?His side of the draw is so wide open he could have made it the finals!I know Verdasco is a great tennis player but If he could have just got past him then who knows what could have happened !

Somebody else make the MC thread, neither tennizen nor I have been particularly lucky ;)
