Wildcards
Main draw (4): Volandri, Trevisan, 2 to be assigned
Qualies(6):Accardo, Giustino, Fioravante, Carrese, 2 to be assigned
Australian young star B.Tomic (1992) requested a wc for main draw, but organisators are waiting for news from Miami (they usually assign some wc to top players, defeated in first rounds in Usa). Finally, a curiosity: Tomic already received a wild card in Napoli, but for an ITF 10K$ in May 2008 in another tennis club (Averno). He will play (probably) his 6th pro tournament in Europe.

lorenzi looked okay at the start of the second

His scheduling is just stupid, going from Italy to Miami to Italy in about 2,5 weeks. He should have taken the rest after Miami and just play next week. Now he pulled out of Casablanca with no clear reason, and doesn't play for weeks...

And his form is terrible as well. Last year he won a lot of these clay challengers.

I think it is better for Bolelli to retire from tennis at 24 after losing from Garcia.
He played so awful that i can only think of fixing.

If you had seen to Crivoi against Garcia.... that is fixing.

Well, it's not like we haven't seen this level of play from Bolleli before this year...

FrankSolitario

I also watched Bolelli against Garcia...
In a 30.000 euros tournament, is it better to struggle in all matches or to put one thousand euros on your opponent at 4,00?
Or maybe i'm just disgusted from a player that was top 30 of the world almost a year ago that lose 2-0 with a 31 years old no. 560 Atp...

to lose from Recouderc or Riba is a low level tennis, to lose from Garcia means you have to RETIRE from tennis!!!!

Killed to Crivoi??

That day a junior player would have won to Crivoi.

3 qually matches against Skugor and Olaso... puffff

Bolelli today was awful serving.

If all is logic, Ramos Viņolas must win him tomorrow.

hmmmm, only Garcia profits of a very good draw. Another simple player would be in QF too, with this draw.

This should be the end of the story for the Kazakh kid I am afraid .

The Kazakh is unpredictable. He plays when wants.

The score can be 6-0 6-2 or 0-6 2-6... depends on how Golubev gets up, if it's sunny...

Machado went to Miami cause was obliged. He studies there and has to spent a few weeks each year. Logically, he goes when Masters plays.

Aha, that explains a lot. Still it would be more useful to me to do this during HC-weeks and not this clay season. But it goes well now, so that's good.

Great win and great tournement by Machado. 3rd challenger for him in his carrer. Del Bonis show that he has potential to be a great player in the future but he needs more consistence. Rui Machado played a very agressive and attacking tennis without making too many mistakes.

WAY TO GO MACHADO!:worship:
