The Don is putting it together. He needs to qualify here

He's got a chance he plays Kevin Anderson next. I like this little run he has going, keep it up Don.

Gaba is down the drain too though. But Young is not the clown MTF-tools often make him out to be.

Not a bad win, although CooCoo has a point...Gaba can play some really dreadul tennis, and certainly lacks any consistency on serve. Plays against a good server next (Anderson) so that is already a step up in itself. Obviously has a good chance if he can force the rallies though.

Putting together another loss.

Okay, something has to change inside Young's camp, this crap form has being going on for to long, and if it keeps up much longer the boys a goner. I don't the full story here but I know that Young's parents coach him and they don't want to let him go or for another coach to take him under their wing. I understand that they love their kid and don't want to separate from him (professionally) but I reckon nows the time to let him go. Donald is old enough to make his own choices in his life and career and needs to stop being babysitted to otherwise he's going nowhere. I'm sure there would be plenty of coaches the USTA could provide him with. Or have the Young camp pissed them all off by now?

Don't remember the score...but watched a match in Cincy several years ago between the Don and Monfils and even though Monfils was sick as a dog on the court and could barely stand upright [GI's I think], Monfils just waited for DY to self-destruct and he did. Remember thinking how mentally weak DY was and totally lacking in focus. I haven't seen any of his matches since then but it seems like he desperately needs a sports psychologist and new coach.

Agree, DY needs a good coach

He is already a complete waste in my book (he was #1 in the world junior rankings at 16), and is a prime example of why a bad attitude and arrogance can be the downfall of a player. His camp has long since offended the majority of coaches in the USTA system. He and his parents thought that they already knew it all and didn't need anyone's help, and they were sorely mistaken.

DY lost his qualie match for Delray Beach. Needs to make some changes soon to stop this downward spiral.
