Kubot won 2 singles matches today. And now he'll play doubles I think.

Q-bot made with Fognini exactly what a player should have made in today's circumstances :bigclap:

Very important win for the Pole - Monte Carlo, Rome and Madrid without qualies if he wants to play there.

Andreev next, who was on court for about 12 minutes today. Bit of a hard ask when you play 3 matches the day before (although Qbot did well to keep the singles to quick massacres).

Last time they played Andreev retired at the Nole Open and that sort of fertilized Kubot's singles career. Lukasz should bow down to Igor tomorrow out of pure gratefulness but he's too ambitious to do that :o

Q-bot has the best H2H on Tour against Andreev: 2-0  (also against Vliegen)

Good. I very rarely insult players but Vliegen is a tool of the highest order.

I love it how Lukasz took like seven years to finally get into the top 100 but since he has done that he has zoomed into the top 50 in just 3 months. It is like finally cracking the top 100 after so many years struggling in challengers and qualifying freed Lukasz of all his doubts, inhibitions and pressures and since breaking into the top 100 he can finally play the kind of tennis he occassionally hinted at before but never had the belief to sustain for more than a few games.

I really hope Kubot is able to enjoy these next few years, make the most of his talents and simply let loose and play fearless tennis. :)

Congrats!!! is he still playing double today, right? and Bellucci tomorrow i guess.

I think the organization thought he would lose earlier, that's why they put him to play doubles in the night

Well I don't know about the title. He would has to manage to raise his game mentally to two great wins, against the Russian and in the final, against Ferrero most probably.

You have to know that in any sport discipline Poles are always struggling a bit against Russians. :D
