Ahhh... The War of the Losers. SoderMug the flash in the pan overrated player vs. The mental anorexic mug who lets his opponent win 13 straight games after winning the first set and being up 3-1 in the 2nd.

You really do not like modern players.

Davydenko did mentally fail at AO, but in Shanghai, London and Doha was very impressive.

I do like some modern players. I just dont like how they are hyped beyond belief before they have really proved anything. What was it last year when Soderling beat Nadal at the French? The word around town is how Soderling is going to be some big time player? Whats he done since?

Fair bit more than Gilbert Schaller ever did.

I've said before and I'll say it again: you're just another bitter Federer hater.

Everything is about Federer for you, even in this match you just can't avoid to make a bitter reference to both players' h2h with Federer... And he's not even playing this tournament for crying out loud!

I dont expect them to beat Federer obviously. But when you blow that kind of lead against ANYONE and so easily? Thats shows you what type of player u really are. I dont expect Soderling to do anything obviously. Which he won't

 Couldn't say with confidence...definitely a worthy poll.

I have been hugely impressed by what I have seen of Davydenko since the World Tour Finals and as long as he is able to force the rallies the only way SoderKing can beat him is to hit right through him...obviously the more he is asked to do this, the greater the chance of an error. SoderKing has to serve like a beast as well. The good thing for him, though, is that indoors is his best surface.

One of those matches where the head says one thing, and the heart says another.

Head: Soderling
Heart: Davydenko

Hopefully it is a cracker for the viewing public. :)

Yep, otherwise I would do it ;)

Soderling in 3 for me. Davydenko didn't impress today

I hope for Robin to summon his full indoor prowess and beat the most in-form player over the last months in a glorious blaze, but I wouldn't mind to see Kolya take it either.

The battle of the Mugs

You know what was truly a Battle of the Mugs?

The 1997 Wimbledon Finals. Cedric Mugoline who sucked so bad he only made the quarters of a Slam or Masters tournament about once a year and otherwise said goodbye in the first or second round constantly vs. Pete SampMug who bent over for huge mugs like Jaime Yzaga, Gilbert Schaller, Karol Kucera, Ramon 'No ATP titles' Delgado, George 'Lucky Loser Qualifer' Bastl, Derrick 'One Title' Rostagno, and Christo 'I'm actually just a doubles player' Van Rensburg in slams.

I'm wondering. What great things have YOU achieved in life to call these guys losers and mugs.
Not everyone can be like Federer, or Sampras, you know...

The battle of the Mugs

Don't forget that the anorexic mug let a healthy Ultimate Fighter win 6 in a row at Doha... then proceeded to dismantle him. Somehow, he wasn't able to do the same against pansy crier at AO.

Kolya in 3. Söderling played very well against Benneteau, but Davydenko is playing so good this year. His hits are very nice and very good.

The battle of the Mugs

This forum needs some new adjectives! If the world numbers 6 and 8 are both mugs, how would you describe the world number 50? Supermug? How about the world number 150? Super-dupermug? Somebody in the 300s? Extra-super-dupermug?

Davydenko is 2, he's is playing very well, and won't let Soderling get any rhythm.
