Likes it to play Robredo, but choked often in the past, this time was also pretty tough in the end but he managed to win it :D
Glad to see him doing well, hopefully he stays injury free!

Boredo finally fulfilling his true potential, playing shite all the time :D. How did he ever reach the top ten, what a disgrace.

Pre-match money went pretty heavily against Robredo, before this match and last, so something not right with him atm.

Nice to see your support endures Raquel, it seems like only yesterday that the Unorthodox One was making the quarters of Wimbledon 2004 taking out some decent grass court opposition en route (Arthurs, Ferreira, Johansson the Younger and Coria, in fact).

Robredo should have gone to South-America.

Thank god Boredo chose this European swing, now he'll slide back down the rankings to where he belongs. Peaked at the Hopman cup where it matters!

Robredo should have gone to South-America.

Exactly! What was he thinking? He was the most successful player of the South American swing last year and it's inconceivable that he's playing here instead. Horrible sceduling and it serves him right that he lost. He played well at the Hopman cup but has been sub-par since.

More money in Europe and closer to home are the two reasons I can think of.

I feel much better now that Robredo will be leaving the country.

It was a really nice match to watch. Mayer played very well and covered the court great. Coming to the net when he had to (unlike Blake, who didn't pick the right moment). Overall Mayer played better and I was surprised he lossed the second. Good fight by Robredo also. He never gave up and it was an exciting match to watch
