Alright. I am intruiged here but not enough to stay awake. Goodnight all and hope you enjoy the rest of the match. Roddick to take it 7-6 6-4. ;)

P.S - If Federer is to lose to Roddick maybe that signifies the end of his dominance. Roger Federer (Canada 2003 - Miami 2008).

Night stebs. The Noletrolls will take your head off for suggesting Fed's dominance didn't end either 07 Montreal or 08 AO.

I honestly don't think Roger has the energy level for long grinding matches on clay. It's going to be a wash out. On the plus side......he should regain some of mojo for the grass season.

I truly expect Rafa to take over as no. 1 at the end of the clay season. At this point, I just want Roger to win 13, 14, 15.......three more!! I'm already happy with Roger's career......3 more would be the cherry:dance:

I agree with what Claire says, his movement and groundstrokes have not been good and those weaknesses are going to be exposed even more on the clay, so he'll probably have a number of early losses during the clay season.

Mono can take a long time to recover from- Ancic is only getting over it now.

I don't want the arrogant tool in 3rd spot ever making no 1, so either Fed needs to find some clay form or Nadal win this event and keep on winning. Djokovic being no 1 would be the worst thing to happen to tennis, his attitude does my head in and his game is a little, robotic.

Today....I didn't run around doing my non jinxing crying because I had a gut feeling Andy was going to be too much for Roger. So far Federer's net play seems to be alright. Can't say the same about his forehand or his movement.

Roddick I guess is playing well, it's hard to tell though, because even when he plays well his style makes me want to throw up.

Edit: and yeah, just looked through GM, not too bad.

I'm going to take a shower. I don't have the heart to see Federer lose the next set.

Edit2: I really hope Roddick loses to Davydekno in the semis, I would love to see davydenko in a TMS final (Paris was his only one, huh?). And of course Rafa beating Berdych.

Hamid! :bigwave:

Oh boy! Has MTF been down, is the world coming coming to its end?
I had to go to the doctor's office 8 am this morning so I slept blissfully and only saw the result when I woke up.  I hope to see the replay tonight. My commiserations to all Fedtards.  And I thought poor JM was whining just for the sake of it yesterday. :awww:

I always have good reasons to whine  :o

Sheesh, what a result!

Oddly enough, I join the club of all those who don't like to see Federer losing from Roddick but on the other hand, I can fully understand the joy Duckfans must be feeling.
I haven't ventured into GM yet :bolt:

Fedfans  A loss like that SUCKS big time and I'm not saying that to gloat but well,...Rafa fans have been there as well.

Duckfans: party time!

A routine check or not feelling too good?

Well, think of it like this. At least he didn't lose to Roddick in an important event.

The mass hysteria and overreaction of GM, always make it so pleasant.

Morning Hilde! :wavey: Yeah, that's a shocker indeed! I guess Fed is still not over the mono yet. :awww:
I had to finally give the blood analysis. Nothing serious I hope. Maybe I need to increase my thyroid medication and btw my endocrinologist (a lady over 40) eloped to France with a man. She said she's not married to her job so I have to go to a new endocrinologist. :o

When you get broken to love vs Roddick you know the end is near...

Time to care about more important stuff... *sigh*

Actually the problem is now Roddick is considered a tactical genius and that is just hilarious. Well he helped by making 3 schoolboy errors.

The duck served pretty well, for some reason targetting Fed's FH most of the time... But come on, if Roger can't return Roddick's serves anymore then he's in huge trouble...

Obviously Roger had to have a brainfart service game once... So predictable...

I took a quick peak over at GM and Fedfan_whateverthenumber is annoying me so I left right away.

I read some of the news articles about it and that doesn't cheer me up either. Freakin' bandwagon jumpers in the media as well. I can understand that sort of reaction from fans but sports journalists should at least try to have some perspective.

Well, keep us informed (if you don't mind, that is).

He has served well before and loves going down the T, that is his serve. I got a friend of mine who is a Roddick fan and he just laughed when I linked that GM thread, mainly the way some are overhyping Roddick and also thinking Federer should just give up.

He probably thought my personal turkey isn't going to win, at the same time when he loses in a Slam to Duck, then it will mean something.
