Wait, I will find the link.

Deutsche Politik thread in non-tennis. You see I am not a huge fan of raving lefties, but extreme Tories even piss me off more. It's post #257, there is a lot of rubbish there.

My comment is in relation to Norway and Switzerland joining the EU.

Quote:
The facts are, that they are better off out
side this cartel. The EU want them, more than the other way around.

Jimink : The raging Tory

For selfish reasons, of course they’re better off outside the EU. But that’s mostly because of the Socialist policies in Brussels. If the EU focused more on freeing and integrating the market, and less on distributing the wealth, these two wouldn’t have a problem.

Totally ignores the national interests of these nations and how they conflict with the EU. Norway, it's oil, gas, farming and fishing. Switzerland there are other reasons, both of them have higher environmental standards.

My fave one is that, there is no acknowledgement of how Scottish oil revenues benefited the British Treasury at a particular time, they needed in. In other words when Attila the Hen needed the funds.

Fed will more than likely play que sera Serra in the final. Davydenko has to want out of Estoril, but the opponents are so poor, he can't lose, even when he wants to and if he does, then he will get investigated.

That is a bunch of crap, obviously there is need of regulation when you have different nations combining to form an economic union. Regulation has nothing to do with socialism, if I understand socialism as centralized planning of the economy under state-ownership of assets. (that is the way they tried to implement it outside the utopia of the theoretical construction) Under this definition, I wouldn't even call China a socialist country at this point, to call European countries socialist is just a joke. One can argue about the extent of regulation and how far the union goes but it has nothing to do with socialism. Actually, countries like Greece, Portugal, Spain fought for more regulation because then they were able to pass reforms that were costly politically under the pretext that it was evil Brussels demanding the reforms and they were forced to do it.

Norway and Switzerland clearly consider themselves better off outside EU than inside and it is hard to argue, the only benefit would be that they would have better bargaining power when in need to negotiate with EU if they were inside rather than outside.

Too logical that first paragraph. Considering this idiot came and called Scandinavian countries socialist, which is a crock. No doubt that Norway and Switzerland will follow their best interests, it is just crap to argue that they don't join due to regulation. If suddenly there was less regulation in the EU it is extremely unlikely to imply that then they would be better off joining. For one, the level of regulation in the EU does not affect domestic regulation. Then it would not affect the cost of entering either, apart from the (relatively trivial) part of co-financing the Brussels beurocracy.

There is a reason Calleri has only won 2 titles and it's not a lack of talent. The reason he pisses gamblers off is this.

When you don't expect him to play well, he does, but the other side of that, is that he can lose to anyone.

The most funny part was trying to persuade me that he would be a radical left leader who would transform the US society. The scary part was that she seemed to genuinely believe that.

Yeah, definatly a gamblers nightmare.

2 years ago he actually made me money, not so anymore.

I have watched a lot of his matches over a long period of time. Well you could say that I have a certain masochistic streak, but that's the way he is. Yes, you can make money of his matches, but it comes at a cost.

If Granollers plays Blake in the final. Marcel will win.

I think thats the last straw for me.

Time to get things together.

I didn't see the odds but if you took Calleri as the underdog it was a correct play imo. Obviously it is key not to bet much in any single play regardless of your beliefs, because even if you make all the correct plays you might still go bankrupt just because of bad luck.

It goes both ways, though the right tend to be a bit scarier. Lot of these people don't get, is that many of the average folk are disengaged and are so for a lot of reasons.

I don't vote in Norwegian elections, I can do so. I could vote here if I wanted to, but I don't. I am not going to waste my vote on a conga line of cocksuckers.

I don't vote for Greek elections either, too little difference between conservatives and social democrats these days. I would vote for either of the two (depending on circumstances which one) if the extreme right becomes more popular, sadly I think it is possible.

I would certainly vote if they held a referendum for the EU constitution but they won't, according to the Greek constitution they can pass it through the parliament if they have a 2/3 majority which they will have since conservatives and social democrats would vote together on the issue.

There's an old saying. Don't write the cheques, if you don't have the funds to back them up. Make sure you have enough to cover the losses, there will be ups and downs, nothing wrong with taking a break.

You have to learn from your errors.

genci is not wonderful this song:inlove:

A te che sei l’unica al mondo
L’unica ragione per arrivare fino in fondo
Ad ogni mio respiro
Quando ti guardo
Dopo un giorno pieno di parole
Senza che tu mi dica niente
Tutto si fa chiaro
A te che mi hai trovato
All’ angolo coi pugni chiusi
Con le mie spalle contro il muro
Pronto a difendermi
Con gli occhi bassi
Stavo in fila
Con i disillusi
Tu mi hai raccolto come un gatto
E mi hai portato con te
A te io canto una canzone
Perché non ho altro
Niente di meglio da offrirti
Di tutto quello che ho
Prendi il mio tempo
E la magia
Che con un solo salto
Ci fa volare dentro all’aria
Come bollicine
A te che sei
Semplicemente sei
E poi ti ho visto
Con la forza di un aeroplano
Prendere in mano la tua vita
E trascinarla in salvo
A te che mi hai insegnato i sogni
E l’arte dell’avventura
A te che credi nel coraggio
E anche nella paura
A te che sei la miglior cosa
Che mi sia successa
A te che cambi tutti i giorni
E resti sempre la stessa
A te che sei
Semplicemente sei
Sostanza dei giorni miei
Sostanza dei sogni miei
A te che sei
Essenzialmente sei

James might win more matches, but he will never ever and I mean ever be as cool as Thomas Blake. Hahahahahaha, love that Blake had enough time to argue with her about Ryan's origins and the fact she was cheering against him, has to be done.

Blake is treating this event like a Grand Slam, so it will be funny if he doesn't win it. I think Oscar will need the support, you may have seen this, but this is funny.

It doesn't look good for any promotional ties being forged between Mardy Fish and a local hamburger institution. And please, no jokes about smoked Fish, either.

The refreshing cold front that blew through Friday made for a gorgeous afternoon at River Oaks, but it also caused the winds to shift, sending the smoke from the concession pavilion just north of Center Court wafting over Fish's quarterfinal match with Oscar Hernandez.

"That's not the reason I lost," Fish said, "but I would have liked to have been able to breathe. You can't play clay-court tennis in that. The points are too hard. It felt like I was playing in a bar."

The eighth-seeded Hernandez, who grew up on the red clay in Spain, seemed much less bothered by the enticing fumes from the grill.

James might win more matches, but he will never ever and I mean ever be as cool as Thomas Blake. Hahahahahaha, love that Blake had enough time to argue with her about Ryan's origins and the fact she was cheering against him, has to be done.

So, can someone please explain to me what makes Thomas Blake so cool in comparison to his brother? I've never met any of these people so I'm curious.

Blake is treating this event like a Grand Slam, so it will be funny if he doesn't win it. I think Oscar will need the support, you may have seen this, but this is funny.

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/5713943.html

"I got hungry," he said, smiling.

Can someone with ranking knowledge tell me how this will affect Rafa's chances....if Federer loses to Davydenko tomorrow and Nadal wins Monte Carlo, what will the gap be?

Due to the fucked up schedule, Nadal will lose his MC points this monday, then win MC, then lose his Barca points then win Barca.

So after all that, the gap will be 6370-5930

440 points
