That he was a mental midget, but he had all the shots and his backhand was a much better shot than Federer's. Then again Fed's backhand compared to Sampras is a very big difference.

That is also the problem with Fed. I mean, his fh is(used to be) such a killer that his bh seems poor in comparison... Fed's bh at TMC 06 and AO 07 was superb :)

I just started one for the 2 handed backhands. Basically if a whole bunch of Serbs turn up and say Djokovic, then that has much as credence as the Zimbabwean election.

Nadal has the best passing shots of the 2 handers, that one is funny too. I mean I forgot Borg won Wimbledon when it was actually fast 5x in a row, hehehe.

Nole walks on water.

I actually like Federer's backhand. Yes, it's the weaker of the two sides, but it's very fluid. Nadal only was able to exploit it because the ball bounced up too high on Federer. I think it's a pretty shot.

George, don't you think people might mean that he currently has the best passing shots of the two handers? I think there are few out there who would argue that Nadal is better than Borg.

There was no currently mentioned in the statement. Well when Nadal wins RG/Wimbledon back to back 3x, then they might have a case.

How many serve/volleyers are there today? What fast surfaces do they play on? The grass is slower, they don't play on the ridiculously fast ice rinks like they did then?

Need I go on.

I am not arguing that what Borg accomplished trumps (by far) what Nadal has done. Only a fool would suggest otherwise at this point. I'm only saying that either the person meant that Nadal has the best passing shots of anyone playing right now, or they are a fairly new fan of the sport and are unaware of what Borg did. Either way, I don't think they are contending that Nadal is better than Borg.

This poster definitely does. When the guy comes out and says Borg didn't have a game for clay, then there is only a certain amount of seriousness that it can be taken with.

Seen in Brussels two days ago:
A man, clearly a foreigner (judging by his accent) goes to a post office box and inserts a couple of letters. The letters fall straight through it and end up on the ground.
Man looks stunned and stares at the letters for a couple of seconds, picks up the letters and says to his companion: "Vive la Belgique!"

Joey's feelings to the Scousers is a bit like mine when Agassi won RG.

You sound like Gaudio, never happy with the way you play. I was going through some old quotes, here is a good football one. I suppose you got to play quite a lot to get the consistency level up, though that requires effort.

Gaudio: Nalbandian and Coria are galaticos. I am like Valencia, they are Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Journo: Valencia have 2 titles.

Gaudio: Well I only want 1.

Dynamo Kyiv had FC Hollywood beaten leading 3-1 at home with 10 to go, playing them off the park.

Free kick, the goalie drops an easy ball and they score, level the leg 3-3. They get a goal at home and make the final.

Basler and Lothar were handling it easy, then the coach takes them off and they got nailed.
