Been trying since they went on sale. Eventually the pages are just coming up with an era after being in the queue for a while (between 10 and 45 minutes). Did this happen to anyone else?

Which tickets were available when you eventually got through? I'm looking for Monday to Friday first week, mostly ground passes with some show courts end of the week.

Did anyone get tickets last year? Did you have to order first day or were there tickets available after as well.

Been trying to get tickets for the last....well, its nearing on 8 hours. Haven't got further than the "Attention: Event with large demand" page. This thing is breaking my heart.

yes you have to open it once. then you see a sort of thing circling make sure you have only one of this pages open on all your network at home. then after 3 hours approx. you will be send to the billeterie page. make sure that when you open important links there to do it with by open it in a new tab. then when something goes wrong you have the first page still.. they changed the paying. you are paying it inmediatly now so you have the tickets for sure. i have sunday till wednesday chartier 4 tickets each day

I've been lurking on here for a while now, but this is my first post! *Waves*

Just a quick question for those who have been successful with tickets: is anyone else still waiting for their confirmation e-mail to show up? I got the confirmation page earlier this afternoon saying my order had been received, but I'm still yet to receive an e-mail with all the details. I've got one with my log in details, but that's it so far. My friend also got tickets and got an e-mail confirming seats etc quite quickly. I'm probably just being paranoid, as I imagine there are a hell of a lot of orders to process! I can't even check my account at the moment as it just puts me in the dreaded queue again!

It'll be the security number on the back probably.

I got through, then had to register. After this it went back to orignal waiting screen. Did that happen to you?

roisin
02-02-2010, 10:03 PM
I logged in first, picked the tickets, put in all my details, ticked all the boxes and then it comes up something along the lines of you can only make a single order.

Its wrecking my head, my friend logged in earlier and tried to buy tickets under my profile and couldnt cos he didn't understand french and now I'm worried it's classing that 'making an order'. I'm back to queuing now.

AndrewMarshall
02-02-2010, 10:13 PM
Maybe you should register with different details if you get through again. This system is rediculous. Not everyone has 12 hours a day free to do this.

Hopefully it will get less busy when most europeans go to bed. But then so will I.

roisin
02-02-2010, 10:15 PM
It is a good system, apart from the ridiculous queue times and the lack of english translation. The part where you can see what your view will be like from the seats you've chosen is great. But yeah, not a big fan of france at the minute.

I'm definitely gonna register again if I can get back in. I think the dates I wanted to go will probably be booked up by then though. I'm over 10 hours trying to get tickets now at this stage! It's lucky I'm only a student with nothing else better to do. Could be an all nighter!

Finally been able to log in and my order is there afterall :D Still haven't got an e-mail, but you can print out your order, which is exactly the same as the e-mail my friend got, and I have an order number and all that jazz. I remember having to wait hours for a confirmation for Leeds Festival a couple of years back, so I imagine with there being such a high volume of orders, there will be a bit of a backlog.

You can go to RG half price from 5h00 PM
Tickets are sold at RG stadium (from people who left the stadium before 5h00 PM). You still have 3 or 4 hours of tennis for half price, it's valuable, I do it every year, it's easy and no use to book and in
when it rains, no problem, you don't go to that's all...it's the best way I've found

Looks like I got charged for tickets I didn't buy. There's two separate transactions for tickets I did buy with one card and tickets I didn't buy and there is no confirmation or evidence of in email or on the ticketing website. Has anyone else had this problem? Or does anyone know the best way of contacting roland garros or whoever sells the tickets? I've already sent an email but who knows when they'll reply to that...

To Frederick 16 : you can chose your court and your are sure to see who you want. In 2007 I saw Nalby/Navarro on a small court then Federer/Ascione on Lenglen...not too bad for half price tickets

If you dont have tickets you can always go very early, they are always selling tickets there. And if its sold out there are a lot of men who have tickets to sell. If you want, you get in. I don't have tickets yet, but thats a mather of time :) Im going for the ground passes, and if there is a nice oop for one of the main courts, i will go very early and buy a ticket there.

How long does it usually take for the tickets to get send. I got the confirmation emails and on my credit card account I can see that I got charged for the tickets I ordered but I haven't actually received any tickets.
Edit: Just saw on the website that the first tickets won't be send until March, I thought when I ordered it said that the tickets would be sent within a month but not before February. Guess I'll just have to patient for a bit longer:p

In the past I've never received my RG tickets until the first week of May - they tend to send them out about 3 weeks before, so I wouldn't worry too much. I assume you've checked your Credit Card statement and been charged for them?

If you look on the English language version of your account, it will still say "pending". but if you look on the French version it will say "validé" which means validated, so I think it's just that they haven't updated the English language version. I wouldn't worry too much.

Hi all,
I just booked my ticket online and it looks alright. The status is still pending but I'm keeping my hopes up since it says the eticket will be sent a month after the booking plus many people have complained about the wait in the previous posts. (And I only ordered ground pass for the 3rd day, which I assume not a packed day). My question is do you guys know if I can pay for add-on for the show courts if I want to buy it there on the ground? I actually want to buy show court tickets but they are not available anymore at the online ticketing website.
Thanks!

They sell re-sale tickets cheaply after 5.00pm from inside the grounds, so you can buy showcourt tickets that way. You just have to hand over your Grounds Pass and pay a small amount which I believe goes to charity, and you then get a Showcourt ticket. You can still usually see a couple of matches at that time.

Also, sometimes, they have returns and re-sale tickets on the day which go on sale from the Box Office outside the grounds, so you can get there early and queue up. I don't think you can swop your ticket that way though, - would just have to buy a new one, Hope that helps.

I've never heard of anyone having a problem because of that. I think you will be ok as long as you (the owner of the tickets) is there to accompany whoever your taking. I've never been asked for identification at any sports match though. Someone else may be able to clarify this.

Quick question, when I bought my tickets I was lucky enough to be at the front of the queue and bought two pairs. However I was only able to get them in every other seat i.e. row 3 seats 4 and 6 or row 13 seats 12 and 14. Is this how the seating at Roland Garros is set up does anyone know. I must have tried to redo it 20 times and got the same result each time. It's not a big deal if the seats are every other but I just wondered thats all.

Due to a change of plans, I have had to curtail my Roland Garros trip by one day, and therefore have a spare ticket for the first Thursday 27th May. It's only for the outside courts (Annexes) but you still get some pretty good matches on those courts on that day. I know I can sell it back through the Viagogo website, but thought I'd mention it to tennis fans here just in case anyone is missing one ticket for that day. If interested - please PM me.

I'm very pleased, I've only seen Grand Slam tennis once before live (USO 2007) let alone a final! Also I'm going to the USO for a few days later, so it's a great tennis year for me :).

Hi!
Does anyone want to switch the tickets for tomorrow? I've come to Paris to see Youzhny and he's playing on Court 1 tomorrow, but I have 2 tickets to Lenglen( I'm really desperate now( There are no tickets available any more.
I can give away my tickets just for this match or for the whole day (absolutely for free of course). We can enter the RG site together, as I have e-tickets with my name on them.

Hi all,

I am going to Paris all of a sudden and will be there from June 1st till June 5th. I am going there with my mom and she's crazy about Rafa. What are my chances of getting me Chatrier tickets for 1/4 finals (I saw the program and if Rafa reaches 1/4 finals he'll play on Chatrier in that period). The problem I have is I don't know when Rafa is playing so I can't start searching for named day tickets. So essentially my question is if there is any chance for me to buy tickets in any way on the day before/day of the game for Rafa's game at 1/4 finals. Any ideas what sort of prices for tickets am I looking at?

Thanks

Hi all,
this year i was on Roland Garrros, and enjoed it very much.
But getting ticket was not easy, and i must say i was lucky to get one waiting till 17:00 for evening ticket and second one from black market.
The people who waited in line (in big crowd) told me that previous years it was possible to come early in the morning and buy tickets, but not this year.

I'm planning to go next year, can you please tell me how did you get your tickets?
Thank you very much!
