I just read this article. http://www.webmd.com/fitness-exercise/news/19991208/knee-tendinitis-surgery

Things can't go on the way they are with him. The problem's not going away so although it would mean quite a long layoff, it might be an option to consider.

No. Cahill did that and it didn't go well for him.

I say yes. But I'm not his doctor. This sounds like a question he should answer.

Rafa will win RG. Don't worry. :)

Rafa will probably win RG and Wimbledon. He is just being careful. He would love to have another AO but realistically he can win FO and Wimbledon 3 more times each. So he should focus on those.

No. But i would recommend him to go to China to seek help from Chinese Medicine instead. I guarantee you 100% they can cure him.

If Rafa plans to play more years, not just two or three, this idea is worthy of thinking over :)

Rafa got tedenitis which is like tennis elbow. I don't think surgery is the treatment of choice for Rafa's condition.

Exactly. This would be a disasterous decision if he did it.

He had edema last summer in his right knee. He needs to rest, and stay away from the hard courts.

No. He needs to pork Federer's fattie wife - that'll make Fed cry like a baby and send him over to the edge never to contend in a grand slam again

Then he can resume dominating the game again :)

HE NEEDS AN EXTENDED leave from tennis, like not playing those claycourt events he plays every year.He should focus on RG thas it and hope for the best.

He needs to stop playing so much HC. Even if his ranking drops. Playing exhos on HC was lame.
