WWW? Tsonga vs DjokovicYves. 01-25-2010, 09:18 AM I think Tsonga could clinch this, Djokovic had a cake draw so far (really, pathetic)! philosophicalarf 01-25-2010, 09:21 AM Yeah, Djoko is horrendously lucky. He'd have had no chance against the hard court prowess of Alm?gro. FlameOn 01-25-2010, 09:26 AM Djokovic in 3. Tsonga will be horrendously tired. tyruk14 01-25-2010, 09:26 AM Might be a tough one to call. I picked Djoko in four. foul_dwimmerlaik 01-25-2010, 09:28 AM I have no freaking idea what might happen in this match. ossie 01-25-2010, 09:32 AM the djoker had a cake draw yes but that doesnt mean hes going to lose to tsonga, djoker in 4 Puschkin 01-25-2010, 09:32 AM Novak, I really hope you know what you have to do. eric.cantona 01-25-2010, 09:34 AM I think Tsonga could clinch this, Djokovic had a cake draw so far (really, pathetic)! the guy finally gets an easy draw on a grand slam (comparing to federer's and nadal's draws all these years) and you came here crying about that. now that's pathetic Ad Wim 01-25-2010, 09:38 AM I think Tsonga could clinch this, Djokovic had a cake draw so far (really, pathetic)! So because he had an easy draw, Tsonga is the favourite? Everything points in the direction of Djokovic for me, but there is still something not convincing, so I say Djoko in 5. shadows 01-25-2010, 09:44 AM Tough match. I'd like to call it for Jo, but he may be quite tired and Djokovic has to be pretty much fresh. Tsonganator 01-25-2010, 09:45 AM Looks like a lot of people are forgetting their past matches... Tsonga may have played a 5 setter, but it is relatively short compared to other 5 setters due to the quick points and service games. ballbasher101 01-25-2010, 09:47 AM Could go either way, a coin toss really. The Djoker is the favorite for me though. saniapower 01-25-2010, 10:00 AM Djokovic Commander Data 01-25-2010, 10:04 AM I like Tsonga and he can beat everybody. But Novak has more game then Tsonga. Novak in 4. Tsonganator 01-25-2010, 10:05 AM Djokovic That was definitely worth a post. LocoPorElTenis 01-25-2010, 10:18 AM I really hope Tsonga but it's not going to happen :( kooties 01-25-2010, 10:30 AM To be quite honest Djokovic's groundies don't really have that Zing yet. And I didn't see the Kubot match, but I saw the one with Istomin where he abused the drop shot, and I think if he tries to do that cheeky stuff with Jo, he's gonna be in real trouble. Anyway, Jo in 4. Nole fan 01-25-2010, 10:37 AM Novak in 4 (and just because he hasn't got many official matches under his belt and is still trying to find his best form). Nole and Fed in the semis! Sean 01-25-2010, 11:40 AM Djoker has only used like 1Kj of energy getting through his chalenger draw, but could be a disadvantage cos Tsonga is about 20 levels above any mug he has played. Tsonga in 4 if recovered from his match with mugro. Vida 01-25-2010, 11:44 AM Ole in 4. vamosinator 01-25-2010, 11:44 AM Barring any major physical problems Tsonga should win, especially since he will have in his memory the loss to Djokovic a couple of years ago in AO final he'll be dying to win :yeah: paseo 01-25-2010, 11:49 AM the guy finally gets an easy draw on a grand slam (comparing to federer's and nadal's draws all these years) and you came here crying about that. now that's pathetic Nadal and, especially Fed, should get the easiest draws cause they are on the top of the game. If Djokovic wants easy draws, he should earn it by taking over the top spot. FlameOn 01-25-2010, 11:56 AM Oh FFS, Youzhny withdrew, Boredo crapped out and Chardy got bagelled. What's Djoker supposed to do? Withdraw from the tournament because his draw was too easy? coonster14 01-25-2010, 11:58 AM fan of both players, but im going with Nole in 4 on this one. zlaja777 01-25-2010, 12:54 PM Nole in 3 close sets. Off - but I'm glad for Mario (you know what I'm talking about). I'm looking forward to see him in action and meet him again! Not a quitter despite all bad things in his life:yeah: eric.cantona 01-25-2010, 03:10 PM Nadal and, especially Fed, should get the easiest draws cause they are on the top of the game. If Djokovic wants easy draws, he should earn it by taking over the top spot. cannot happen every time, dude. by being almost 3 year consecutive #3, he earned that privilege once in a while. if he doesn't take advantage of easy draw, than he doesnt deserve it anymore. or maybe he likes harder way Logical 01-25-2010, 03:28 PM Serbian pride in 3 sets. :worship: Clownfried is finished. gulzhan 01-25-2010, 03:31 PM I hope Novak wins and wins it easy. He was lucky with a draw for a reason ;) oranges 01-25-2010, 03:35 PM Well, I strongly disagree with you cos I can't stand Tsonga. Hey, if we all liked the same guys, it would be a boring world ;) I'm positively entranced by this precursor of the new rip and charge generation :D Off - but I'm glad for Mario (you know what I'm talking about). Serbian pride will win. :worship: He has a serious job of sending the pathetic crier home in the semifinal so that El Matador doesn't get embarrassed and uncomfortable in the final. I daddy 01-25-2010, 04:08 PM Djokovic, because he's rested while Tsonga had long, tought matches and is physicly and mentally exhausted. Farrow 01-25-2010, 05:08 PM Djokovic, but he'll lose a set, probably the first. rhinooooo 01-25-2010, 05:18 PM Outdoor hard and slower conditions favour Nole. I'll be hoping Tsonga though. He definitely has a shot. xargon 01-25-2010, 05:52 PM How could Tsonga almost lose to clay court specialist Almagro who has a broken wrist? Tsonga was way better two years ago. I say novak in 4. Tsonganator 01-25-2010, 06:47 PM How could Tsonga almost lose to clay court specialist Almagro who has a broken wrist? Tsonga was way better two years ago. I say novak in 4. You have no idea what your talking about. Almost every facet of Tsonga's game is improved, 2 years ago he was almost go-for-broke, now he puts significant topspin and waits for the right opportunity. Any player in the top 30, especially with the style of Almagro, can catch fire and play like one of the best in the world. tektonac 01-25-2010, 06:51 PM I hope this time Nole catches fire, he'll need it. He's been in an energy conservation mode so far. He should be a much fresher player. Steelq 01-26-2010, 03:51 AM It's decided that this will be a night match, good news for Novak. whattheheck 01-26-2010, 04:36 AM Hoping for Tsonga to win Ad Wim 01-26-2010, 05:57 AM How could Tsonga almost lose to clay court specialist Almagro who has a broken wrist? Hard to believe it's a repeat of the 2008 AO Final. Florida 01-26-2010, 11:29 AM Nole is under preassure. I feel Tsonga will battle it out! MIMIC 01-26-2010, 11:31 AM This match has the #2 ranking on the line. So naturally, Tsonga will win this one. :o Rumour 01-26-2010, 11:50 AM This match has the #2 ranking on the line. So naturally, Tsonga will win this one. :o Haha, I'd forgotten all that was riding on the outcome of this match  Was going to give the edge to Djokovic but now I think Tsonga's more likely to take it, in 4 :p Manon 01-26-2010, 12:03 PM Novak (fanboying). But don't forget he's the best Tsonga bitch. Nole fan 01-26-2010, 12:08 PM I hope Novak wins and wins it easy. He was lucky with a draw for a reason ;) That his draw was easy doesn't mean that his next opponents are going to be easy. So not just because he had an easy draw (we could argue Fed had an easy one too) means he has to win the AO or he will be less if he doesn't. His next rivals are going to be very tough and we all know the second week is the one that counts. And if he wins the AO he absolutely deserves to be nº2 or 1 or whatever he gets because he has been a very consistent victorious player for 3 years which is a feat in itself. His singles record of 263 - 87 wins is astonishing. And that's the reason he will be up in the rankings, not because he got an easy draw in a Grand Slam. This is just a very lame excuse for the haters to bash Novak in case he wins the AO, like they did when he won it two years ago saying he defeated a 'mono' Fed. Always the same stupid excuses. rocketassist 01-26-2010, 12:09 PM Allez Jo and Davai PMK, imagine a foursome with them two and the two we already have... a new champion and all good guys. MachineGun 01-26-2010, 12:25 PM Tsonga in 5 sets. Djokovic has had a way too easy draw as of now, he is not prepared enough for a match like this. duong 01-26-2010, 03:39 PM Tsonga in 5 sets.
