Davydenko: "I want to play Federer [in the quarters]"

He's being interviewed on ESPN and he told Cahill that he'd rather play Federer (as opposed to Hewitt) because of "they're in Australia" (and the crowd would be overwhelming for Hewitt)

I'm not surprised.

He said the same thing on Eurosport. But added that he dosen't want to face Hewitt because of the crowd.

Hewitt will beat Davydenko 100%.

Doubt it. He is $hi##ing his pants now hearing this from Denko. Murka should change his diapers as well.

Denko would like to play Federer ?
He will loose in straight sets here in Australia
Slams are another story
Forget about Doha

eh? if that's the same on-court interview that was on Eurosport, I remember interviewer asking Kolya who he'd like to play, and then him turning to the crowd, asking who they'd like to see him play, saying it's probably Hewitt, because he's Australian.

I predict a straight-setter for Federer. Davydenko talking too much off the court.

You guys should go on a date.

Donkey would struggle to get a set based on the way they both played today.

I think Davy might want to retract his statement after Fed's performance against Hewitt.

No, it was another interview with Wilander.

You got your wish granted, Denko. Now go fold and bend for your master as you usually do. Watch Fed deal with you in straights

kolya has an irreverent attitude and I like it. But... Fed is still my fave and I acutually think it's going to be his match. It will be tough, though. Kolya will definitely be the toughest opponent in this AO thus far for Paris Hilton

You can't tell nothing from today's performance of both guys.

Against Hewitt it was the same old story. Fed knew battle was already won, Hewitt knew he's going to lose as usual.

Against Davy Rog won't be as fluent and relaxed.

He's being interviewed on ESPN and he told Cahill that he'd rather play Federer (as opposed to Hewitt) because of "the win in Australia" (meaning Doha, apparently).
:retard: Not because of "the win in Australia", because "we're in Australia", meaning he'd rather play Roger than a clear crowd favorite.

Maybe Davydenko wants to prove that he can defeat Federer in Grand Slams (some people only watch Grand Slams)

I like Fed and I want him to beat Koyla but I've got to admit that the fedtards are acting like 5 year old cry babies with every word kolya says; words that are severely missing its context, are some times twisted and in other case haven't even been said by kolya!

Kolya is a nice guy and he plays beautiful attacking tennis, imo. It's amazing to think that at his age he's improved his serve and he's even improved his net play. If Fed loses, I'll be rooting for him all the way to the title, baby.

Surprisingly optimistic statement considering his H2H vs Fed.

I'd be surprised if the tide had turned for good like say Fed Vs Hewitt.

Mr Misunderstood should be his new name. Poor ole Davy:hug:, if he speaks with confidence, he is labeled "big mouth" and if he speaks with humility and say he is not confident about playing 5 setters, he is labeled " no confidence loser". Perhaps it is best for him to remain low profile so he is not bothered by all this stupid media asking stupid questions.

Please children, be kind to poor Davy as you all know he can't speak English very well.:wavey:
