Puschkin 01-21-2010, 01:30 AM Kolya is setting a record of bagels  Frightenly efficient, this Nikolaj. ;) selyoink 01-21-2010, 01:35 AM It will take a titanic performance from someone to prevent Davy from making the QFs. Havok 01-21-2010, 01:49 AM Until he does something major in a Slam, his results will always get overlooked by me.:o Congrats though, his potential 4r match vs Verdasco should be quite entertaining. Jaffas85 01-21-2010, 01:49 AM Verdasco will be lucky to take a set from him in the 4th round. Federer will have to be at his best in the quarters, as davydenko will be very confident. TheBoiledEgg 01-21-2010, 01:52 AM King Kolya rides on  :yeah: Speed of Light 01-21-2010, 02:07 AM Expected tank from useless clown Mugchenko. habibko 01-21-2010, 02:17 AM It will take a titanic performance from someone to prevent Davy from making the SF. fixed. brief 01-21-2010, 02:34 AM Good for him to power through the early rounds. philosophicalarf 01-21-2010, 02:36 AM Good stuff from Davy - unnecessary sets dropped always killed him in the slams in the past. briecie 01-21-2010, 02:55 AM Why 4? oops...5 Sunset of Age 01-21-2010, 03:06 AM Expected tank from useless clown Mugchenko. Expected :silly: post from mad world. Noleta 01-21-2010, 05:03 AM He sure is on fire:rocker2: *Jean* 01-21-2010, 06:45 AM Illya :( But nice tournament! CooCooCachoo 01-21-2010, 07:33 AM Kolya is mighty impressive at the moment :o McAlistar 01-21-2010, 08:45 AM He's starting to believe his own hype, im hoping Verdasco puts him out :o FlameOn 01-21-2010, 09:17 AM Kolya's looking impressive. :) So far though, he hasn't really been tested that much. I'm sure Monaco and Verdasco will be sterner tests. :) Halba 01-21-2010, 09:20 AM Kolya's looking impressive. :) So far though, he hasn't really been tested that much. I'm sure Monaco and Verdasco will be sterner tests. :) yes both these are good tests oranges 01-21-2010, 09:31 AM Kolya steamrolling everything in his path :clap2: brithater 01-21-2010, 09:41 AM Looking good and staying fresh for later rounds. Ping Pong tennis at its finest. Its nice to see him getting respect these days. A very neglected and overlooked player. Only thing I can compare him to would be a combination of Chang/Agassi. Or maybe Agassi on meth . Nole fan 01-21-2010, 09:45 AM Let's see what happens with Verdasco, the Spaniard is in excellent form too. It will be exciting to watch. Kolya is in great form! :yeah: ossie 01-21-2010, 10:22 AM kolya :rocker2: kicking asses and taking names is what he does best people :worship: Orka_n 01-21-2010, 04:40 PM Still going strong, this sneaky bald man. I like it. Fed will have his hands full in the SF... that match got real potential. Sophocles 01-21-2010, 04:46 PM Why do people think Verdasco's going to take him out? Sure, he's playing well, but so is Davydenko, & only Davydenko has proved his level is high enough to beat the best in real competition. Their head-to-head is 6-1 in Davydenko's favour, with Verdasco's only victory coming on clay in 2005. On hard Davydenko is 3-0. It would be a big upset if Verdasco won. I give him a set. Andi-M 01-21-2010, 05:26 PM Yup i think Davy is a sure bet for QFs and a good bet for the SFs. He is in blistering form. SheepleBuster 01-21-2010, 05:34 PM what do you call this score line? A double bagel with cream on the top? oranges 01-21-2010, 05:48 PM what do you call this score line? A double bagel with cream on the top? Croissant? Arkulari 01-21-2010, 05:52 PM Kolya's been playing great but so far he has only gotten mugs, gotta see how he plays once he faces a stern test SheepleBuster 01-21-2010, 05:58 PM Croissant? Yes that could work too. I was thinking of a donut with two strawberries on it. ;) born_on_clay 01-21-2010, 07:32 PM nice match Kolya fran70 01-21-2010, 10:14 PM He is in the best time of his career. He has the big chance to win his first GS. briecie 01-21-2010, 11:32 PM Kolya plays Juan Monaco next. Any upsets here? I haven't seen Monaco play before so don't know how good he is. Hope Kolya gets through this match smoothly. philosophicalarf 01-21-2010, 11:35 PM Monaco was complete garbage against LLodra, and is a slam choker anyway. Davy will steamroller him. Arkulari 01-21-2010, 11:57 PM Pico is not up to Kolya's level, so it'll be another straight set victory for him ;) briecie 01-22-2010, 12:28 AM Pico is not up to Kolya's level, so it'll be another straight set victory for him ;) that would be fabulous:) I just hope the weather stays cool though as the heat has bothered him in previous years at the Aust Open. Fingers crossed the weather God is kind to Kolya:) | |
