Why do people think Verdasco's going to take him out? Sure, he's playing well, but so is Davydenko, & only Davydenko has proved his level is high enough to beat the best in real competition. Their head-to-head is 6-1 in Davydenko's favour, with Verdasco's only victory coming on clay in 2005. On hard Davydenko is 3-0. It would be a big upset if Verdasco won. I give him a set.

Yup i think Davy is a sure bet for QFs and a good bet for the SFs. He is in blistering form.

that would be fabulous:) I just hope the weather stays cool though as the heat has bothered him in previous years at the Aust Open. Fingers crossed the weather God is kind to Kolya:)
