Through to face either Nieminenenenenen or Serra.

A tidy match, started off brilliantly, and then regressed slightly. Felt that Murray had the ability to go up a gear to seal the elusive break in each set.

R4 encounter with Monfils could be promising.

I have no words to describe how pathetic a match can get when 2 mugs face off
The tournament organizers should just start moving all the early round muggay matches out of town, somewhere far far away from the human eye.
The only good thing about this match is that it will serve as a perfect example to anyone who plans make mug pushing a career.

Don't worry, you'll lose your virginity one day, son. Chin up.

Murray played a great first set. The last two were a bit dodgy, but there was a big left to right cross wind which he wouldnt have in the two big arenas where he'll probably play the rest of the tournament.

Aye, I quite like Nieminen, so was hoping for him to progress but oh well.

Yeah good enough, good as it needed to be. Hopefully now he starts moving up the gears.

Nice draw Murray has until he faces the Nadal. Vamos!

Routine win apart from a slight blip in the third set. Serving still not at his best, but good to see him coming to the net a bit more and being a bit more aggressive on some of his ground strokes.

Bits I saw looked good. If his form carries on improving, he'll be a serious threat to Nadal in the quarters.

With RoBotro limping past Flake in a long ass match and Serra next it's a dream draw for Murray.

Hardly a dream with Nadal coming before DelPotro. Looking too far ahead is the curse of the British media.

Nadal on a hardcourt is a nice match up for him- junk and topspin landing into a perfect hitting zone to blast winners (see Australian Open 2007 and US Open 2008) although it would still take a very hot performance to see him through.

Joke of a draw for Murray. He should be easily in QF.

Yeah but he doesn't blast as many winners these days - either errors, or push push.

Not as confident he'd adjust his game for the match-up either, considering that he has stuck to this regressive gameplan (in any match I have seen) for almost a year now.

Should beat Monfils in R4, but I'm not 100% confident.

I think Murray KNOWS that pushing won't cut it against Nadal. He'll go out there and try to attack, if it does happen.

Murray performed a video for all his haters on Tennis Boards this week (make sure you watch last 30 seconds if nothing else):

Don't worry. He will. He is quietly having another great slam. 36 games to 12 so far winning all six sets without much effort. The guy gets less credit than any other player on tour.

Nice draw until round 4.
Monfils then Rafa not easy but hopefully he can go up that gear required to win a slam.

Isner might beat Monfils  Still either way R4 and then the QF will be hard.

 That's right. I forgot. He used to get too much credit until he failed to win the major last year.

Now it's definitely the other way around. Under the radar doesn't work for Nole, but it may work for Muzza. :p

Murray is rolling along quite nicely and his movement has been pretty tremendous. He looks sharp but of course he hasn't really faced anybody of major note yet.

I'm starting to like Muzza quite a lot, but I'm conflicted because I think him and Nole will dominate men's tennis in the near future and I don't want the Brit to take anything away from my Serb. But i respect him because he's a wonderful player and a real threat to everyone. The new era of Muzza-Nole has just begun.

Hold your horses. Let's just see who wins this tournament first at least shall we? It's a bold call and we'll see! I have actually predicted that Novak will win this tournament but that if he has to face Murray in the final, that Murray will win.:devil:

I don't support them all, I just support Djokovic. The others are players that I like. Which means that i enjoy watching them play but I'm quite indifferent if they win or not. Roddick is probably the only player I dislike.
