Would you rather your favourite won, or the player you dislike the most lose?

Cos to me it seems people around here are way too focused and interested in the players they hate rather than enjoying the players they do like winning.

MTF logic: if your favourite player wins it means nothing coz he's still going to be a mug/lucky with the draw/... you score more points when the player you hate loses. Facile :)

Rooting for my favorite. Rooting against someones success is weak and petty. People that filled with dislike for someone they don't even really know are very sad individuals.

Well for my fave to win my least fave also has to lose unless they share the trophy, so I went for that..

Fave winning by far. Dont get much out of a player I dislike losing aside from making a few sarcastic remarks.

well, if your fave player wins the tournament, it means your most hated player lost at some point

that being said, i don't dislike any player, tbh (except stepanek maybe) but i do like some of them to lose in order to increase the chances of my favourites winning. nothing personal, just business :)

i also like some players to lose just to allow me to make fun of some of their fans, too. It's not that I dislike the player as a person, just some of the fans. Nadal is a case in point.

I don't rather anything. I want to see blockbuster matches. I am past rooting for one person or the other. Tennis is supposed to be about entertainment but when you are rooting for someone or against someone, it becomes less fun. Besides, why would you root against anyone knowing that they go through hell to make it as a tennis player?

Oh please... Let's all gather around a fire and sing that we all live in a yellow submarine while smoking pot.

Best thing happens when favourite kicks the hated one ass. After that I'd take anyday the roland garros Soderling-Nadal 4th round beating over Roger vs. Haas.

I guess it depends on your mindset. I am not a negative person, and if I don't like a player, I ignore them. The only time I root against them is if they are playing a player I want to see win. Other than that, who cares? I don't hold grudges towards people I don't know like a 8 year old child. "OMG, I hate him so much, I hope that mug loses and retires!1!!!". Please.

Federer losing to Hanescu is too good to turn down

I don't hate, or even dislike anyone, but obviously I am going to root against the top 3 or 4 and hope they lose early, because then my favourite has a better chance of moving up a place or two in the rankings.
