Yes I know, but the question is when will they be placed?

Also one LL guarenteed to be in, how is that chosen? randomly among the top 4 losers or somthing?

I don't trust Wiki, I think they changed the rule. Well if you're right then it would be Darcis.

That makes it Steve Darcis from Belgium.

Why did they change it back to the highest ranked player? Randomly selecting one of the top 4 losers in the third round of qualifying was such a better idea I thought.

Qualifiers placed.

Rufin vs. Tomic

Battle of the youngsters :bigwave: Tomic

And I was right, Ilhan got in not Darcis so it was random.

Hocevar, Kindlmann, Anderson, and Ebden with the bad draws everyone else has a shot.

Malisse vs. Almagro should be fun. Also look for the Don to roll also Marchenko will beat old man Moya.

Will Tomic still win you reckon? His opponent sounds decent, is higher ranked and in winning form. :o

Not a chance for Hocevar, too bad.

The Don has his big shot here.

As you see, that is not true as Ilhan is picked as LL...

I know! Bizarre -- can anyone find an explanation from AO Website or news wires? It goes against the policy on the site. TMJordan I stand corrected

Very tight scores. So sorry for De Voest, Ilhan (9-11 ), Darcis, Suzuki, Sweeting, Roger-Vasselin  All of them deserve to play in MD.

Lucky Losers and Substitutions
i. Lucky Losers
Lucky Losers are those players who have lost in the final round
of the Qualifying competition or, if more Lucky Losers are
required, those players who have lost in the previous qualifying
rounds. Lucky Losers shall be selected based on the computer
rankings used for the determination of qualifying seedings as
follows:
The order of the four (4) highest ranked players shall be
randomly drawn, thereafter the order shall follow the players'
rankings, unless there are more than two (2) main draw
withdrawals at the time the Qualifying competition is finished
in which case the size of the random draw will be the number of
withdrawals plus two (2).
The Lucky Loser list will be posted each day at least one (1)
hour prior to the sign-in deadline which will be one-half (˝)
hour before the first point is played in the first match. Such list
shall not be available for sign-in on the preceding day.

If I'm not mistaken Ilhan was the 3rd highest ranked among last round losers.

Some of those ones that qualified were predictable but it`s remarkable what players like Ebden, Zemlja, Veic, Sorensen, Hocevar, Sergeyev and Dodig did. Good luck for all of them!
