Ricardo lacks a good backhand and probably won't be a top 50 player but he fought hard his way to the MD and it paid off. Only Brazilian risking himself on qualies and he made it.
In second round he was 2-5 down against Bachinger in the 3rd and won 7-5. Today he was trailing 1-6 3-4* but managed to win again.
Big congrats to him, best moment of his career.

I am literally on the verge of crying right now. Its 4:40am and he lost :sobbing: I wanted him to win so badly, but he lost in yet another slam qualification round
I havent been this sad since Ana lost to Maria in AO final. :bigcry:

Poor Niland. He fights hard for Ireland.
Good for Hocevar, his father will be proud.

disappointing result for niland considering how he started. didn't realise he went a break up in the 2nd. looks like he had a bit of a mental collapse because he lost 6 games in a row from there

Didnt the same thing happen in Wimby qualies against some random WC, he won first set and blew it

Well done by the hard-working Brazilian. Match against Hewitt at the RLA now.
