this is a no-brainer, EGO is long overdue for an ealy exit... a quickfire third round loss to a useless mug is on the walls.. his fanboys need not worry though as it will be over fast.

No matter what you say, history tells us 8 for 8 seldom happens, so I just wonder how MTFers think.

Federer can lose to Hewitt (10% chance), Simon (20% chance) and Baghdatis (15% chance).
Davydenko can lose to Verdasco (40% chance), Gulbis and Ferrero (both 15% chance).
Djokovic can lose to Gasquet and Robredo (both 25% chance)
Soderling can lose to Tsonga (50% chance), Haas and Tipsarevic (20% chance), Dent and Almagro (15% chance)
Roddick can lose to Querrey (15% chance), Berdych (25% chance) and Gonzalez (30% chance)
Del Potro can lose to Cilic (30% chance), Wawrinka (20% chance), Blake (25% chance).
Murray can lose to Monfils (30% chance), Ferrer (10% chance).
Nadal can lose to Stepanek, Isner and Karlovic (all 30% chance), Kohlschreiber, Ljubicic and Fish (25% chance).

From this I can say, that Nadal, Davydenko and Soderling all can go home before QF :)

Nadal isn't losing to any of those players over 5 sets. Isner probably has the best chance among those because he's mentally tough.

I'd pick Soderling. He's due an early loss after 3 consistent results and this is probably the worst surface for him.

Soderling obviously. He is clearly the weakest player and isn't fit either.

Soderling, Murray, and Davydenko I think all might lose. Murray sucks in the 4th round of majors, Soderling is due for a bad one, and I think Dasco thrashes Davydenko.

Roddick 75% Probably will injure himself after eating a steak sandwich. Whiney baby can't stop hugging Fedster.
Del Potro 75% Cannot move this week.
Soderling 70%
Djoko 40% His sweat pours. Delusional people will say his opponent was lucky to win...except their unlucky Federer.
Murray 30% Will throw a tantrum.
Federer 20% Another easy vacation.
Nadal 20%

Certinfy
01-15-2010, 09:43 PM
Federer - Can't see anyone beating him in his section
Davydenko - Verdasco is the only one, but the chances are slim
Djokovic - No way, might drop a few sets though
Soderling - Tsonga could well be the man to beat him, and if that match happens, I like Tsonga's chances.
Roddick - Gonzalez or Berdych in R4 could be a huge test, still I doubt he'll lose to either
Del Potro - Doubt anyone in his section could beat him, maybe Cilic though.
Murray - Also doubt anyone here, if anyone it would probably be Monfils though.
Nadal - Isner and Karlovic possibly in consecutive rounds.

Overall I have to go with Soderling here, seems like he isn't fully fit, and well Tsonga can perform when on :yeah:

Big easy to read serves rarely trouble Murray - he's never lost to Karlovic.

It's possible I suppose, Murray does tend to have a banana skin match in there, but I'd be surprised if it were Isner.

I think Soderling is most likely as he seems to have the bigger injury concerns. Possibly Del Potro if he's being more coy about that wrist than he's letting on.

Soderking's form of late has indeed been horrible. But, because MTF's general opinion is that he is done for, he is guaranteed to make the QF. :D
Other than that, Del Potro doesn't look too good. And Roddick won't make QF.

It depends on injuries - Soderling or DelPo could crash out early.

Without taking injuries into account, I think Soderling and Roddick are the weak links. Maybe Murray, cos it's a slam and you just don't know.
