I started watching at 1*-4 Gasquet in the second, but he regained his focus and played a good tiebreak. He looked very emotional out there, nice to see that he really wants it.

Here's hoping that 'Gasquet Vs. Hewitt' final will come to fruition (Berdych being the headcase he is will lose before the final).

he can do without brain farts like that though he lost 14 consecutive points at the start of the second set.

Typical concentration dip for Gasquet BUT he got his focus back in enough time to close it out in 2, which I didn't see coming at 1-4. And yes nice to see him, pumping those fits and shouting a few allezs (or whatever).

Good enough Richie now keep going.

I had troubles getting a stream going, so I missed much of the first set. The start to the second was dreadful, virtually no serve at all. His body language was bad, when he was 0-3 down, but obviously he was more determined than he looked. A DF from Becker gifted the rebreak. Still ups and downs to level at 6-6. Becker wanted too much in the breaker and the MP was vintage Gasquet.

What on earth did Gasquet do at the end? Was that some kind of French dance step?

Good result for Richie. He needs several wins in a row to have his confidence back.
