Stepanek is in grand form, but Roddick will find a way to win. I'll take him in 3.

Stepanek will underperform again and Roddick will win in 3 sets at most. Roddick is again doing his part. Looking like a tough guy before AO before losing at AO in the semis to a contender or to a wild card in an early round.

i'd like to see sexy win and then he can do some crazy dance moves to shock brooklyn decker.
but andy will win.

Roddick looks to be playing very well. He may even be a favorite going into Melbourne.

I expect similar match as in Memphis 09, Andy'll win and show he could make some big result in AO.

roddick, i feel he really wants this to put himself back on the tennis map.

"I've been pretty good at keeping leads in my career, and pretty good at closing out matches when I need to," Roddick said. "But that one against Richard is probably the biggest one I let get away in terms of having a grip on a match -- two sets and a break. But that was 2½ years ago, a lot has happened to both of us since then. It's not something I think about too often."
Good with leads? Obviously he forgot about dumping breaks and matches against his heroes. I remember him choking in Spain vs. Ferrer. He loudly joked around while Nadal played seriously for his country, even though he and his so-called friends pretended he "worked hard & no one didn't believe in him".
