Berdych was being sublime in the first set, Roddick raised his level in the next two sets.

Impressed that Roddick was out for so long with that knee injury, first tourney back and makes a final. You can tell the guy works hard.

GREAT match, Berdych sadly is never going to reach his potential. That 1st set showed what he can do with a clear mind, unfortunately I never thought he'd win. :(

What happened?

roddick has become a much better match player over the years. he rushed the net at 4-4 in the 3rd and it worked in rushing berdych into errors.

roddicks backhand is looking better than i thought it would after his time out, thought it might have regressed a bit.

Now berdych is awful. How many times he chokes matches away?

Final in comeback to playing, absolutely great. I'm glad that he played agressive in last few games in third set, he's mentally strong again.
