Roddick in 2 tight sets. Richard's serve has been bad this week. Can't see him not dropping serve and can't see Roddick losing serve.

Leaning towards Roddick in 2. Should be a fun one to watch.

Gasquet is still in that "I'm the underdog" mode. Always thinking that he's up against someone who's better than him and if he plays someone who's the underdog he still finds a way to make it seem like they are the favorite because they have nothing to lose against him, which is what I said about his 2nd round opponent. I know that's his humble nature but it's time he got some killer instinct and start kicking some butts with his attitude! Instead of saying "nobody expects me to beat Roddick" how about saying something like "I beat him last time we played so I will use that to my mental advantage." Why not think that way instead of he's the favorite and all I can do is give it my all. Gasquet has always lacked that killer instinct that you see with the other top players.

Usually all that kind of psychological bullshit on MTF is baloney, but there might actually be some truth to this ^

Perhaps he is not that confident yet at the moment so he says those things. I have heard him being more bold with his statements. As far as talking about his second round opponent, he always calls his opponents "great players" and stuff like that.

roddick in 2. easy, good serves all he has to do is break him and the match is over. plain and simple & no physcological pissy bullshit either. thankyou.

I do like both players but I'd like if Richy take this. But Andy will win in two though.

It'd be nice for Gasquet but I don't think he's got this big a win in him quite yet. Still ... who knows?

I think it'll probably Roddick in 2, 64 75

If he returns his serve like he did for 3 sets of Wimby 07 he'd stand a good chance but I don't think he's at that level yet.

I don't think he actually returned serve that great in their 2007 match. He only broke him twice in 5 set match and one was toward the very end when Roddick was already tired. What he did after is play great on big points and in breakers. If he can take care of his serve with some aggressive play, getting to net, he stands a chance. I doubt he is at that level right now though.

probably Roddick in 2   he'll serve well enough to avoid being broken, and surely Gasquet will have a few loose service games in each set.

how come neither is listed on the OOP??? or am I blind?

I don't think either player is at his best right now. Roddick has had knee issues, Gasquet didn't playy much last year. I actually think this will be close. Roddick didn't exactly crush his first two opponents, who are nowwhere near Gasquet's ability. I'll go with Roddick in three sets.

roddick in 3 sets. both are lacking match practice, but i just feel roddick will play the bigger points better from memory and experience.

It's funny to see how Roddick "can't get broken" and Gasquet will trail in the big points...

Gasquet for me. He is the better player overall. And he's been sweating in the off season to bounce back, while Andy's probably been to his honeymoon

I want gasquet to win but roddick will probably be too strong.
