They played the '03 Younes/Roddick match last night. So, it was cool to see him on court again, in real time.

Shame Ryler lost though. :(

Ryler is one of the nicest guys on the tour, and by all accounts Younes is a class act as well. A friend of Ryler's told me that Ryler was close to feeling 100% since the injury that took him out late last year (and Ryler beat three pretty good players in the qualies to get in the MD), so Younes must still be in pretty solid form to have taken him out. Good luck to both guys (two of my favourites) as we near Australia! :worship:

Nice match, and you could tell Younes was quite into this one, visibly disgusted with himself whenever he made a cheap error. Impressive stuff and lots of nice play from him. Ryler made a hash of too many returns.

This wasn't more than a challenger level match. It looked good because of their nice playing style, but I don't think you can make the top 100 playing like that.
