Rosario Tenis 2009 – Copa City Center Rosario, será un encuentro único que fomentará también el turismo en la ciudad mediante la llegada de espectadores de distintos lugares del país y extranjeros.

El reciente vencedor del abierto de los Estados Unidos, el tandilense Juan Martín del Potro, se enfrentará con el chileno Fernando Gonzalez, triple medallista olímpico. En la previa se presentará el jugador oriundo de Roldán Eduardo Schwank, reciente ganador del challenger de Chile, y el marplatense Horacio Zeballos, vencedor del Challenger de Buenos Aires y finalista del ATP World, de St. Petersburgo, Rusia. Los cuatro tenistas jugarán luego un encuentro de dobles con promesas del mejor nivel internacional.

One of the shittiest tennis courts Ive seen. Players constantly are against linemans, the court is too short.

it was a great event till the final moment...
there were some pathetic incidents in the locker room. 5 barrabravas (football fanatic supporters) from Newells Old Boys (club where the even was held on) entered to where Del Potro was resting after the match and threatened him to give them something :cuckoo: if not.....
Del Potro gave them the 1st he got from the bag (a t-shirt) but the guys kept insisting, some organizer guy tried to give some money to stop this... the security guards were frozen like statues because they scare of this guys :o :rolleyes: finally they leave
Del Potro was very mad after this and say he wasnt going to comeback again to this event :eek:
