Knowle/Lindstedt

I just saw that Melzer wants to focus on singles now. Knowle will start the season with Lindstedt and see how it goes (until Miami). Brisbane, Auckland and Melbourne are on their schedule.

Any other news?

So:
Knowle/Lindstedt
Damm/Polasek
Melo/Soares
Llodra/A.Ram

Bruno Soares and Marcelo Melo

Soares partner zimbabuan Kevin Ullyett has retired and he was looking for a new partner, probably a foreign. But, Melo is also from Belo Horizonte, both share the same coach, Daniel Melo, Marcelo's brother, then both decided to play togheter in 2010.

Andre Sa, 33, said he is not retiring and will play in 2010

Are you sure ? because llodra annonced during Bercy that he will play next year with Andy Ram. You can find the annonce in french http://www.lequipe.fr/Tennis/breves2009/20091108_183154_llodra-sort-au-1er-tour.html

Erlich's rankings is too low at the moment to play with Andy on a rugular basis, plus he is too injury prone. Ram will play with Llodra next year while Erlich will play with... Arnaud Clement!

I read yesterday in Marcelo's blog that André is still looking for a partner. So nothing new about him.

I think good decision by Fish. He showed this season he would achieve a lot as a doubles player if he concentered more on this activity.

I think good decision by Fish. He showed this season he would achieve a lot as a doubles player if he concentered more on this activity.I agree, except that he's really injury-prone and missed most of the end of the season. Not sure if it's smart to play both singles and doubles full-time even though he is likely to have good results especially with a player like Knowles

 Youzhny as in Mikhail? That's odd. He's top 20 in singles and committing to a doubles arrangement? So Moodie will be following Youzhny's singles schedule then. strange strange decision.

In his diary, Norman writes that he totally did not see the split coming. Moodie informed him over the phone. He doesn't understand it and he writes that none of the other players, coaches and tournament directors understand it either.

I find Youzhny such a weird choice too. Not exactly a great doubles player.

Moodie has always been a bit strange. :o

He dropped Jeff Coetzee at the beginning of the beginning of the year pretty much out of the blue. I'm happy for Kas though who has got a great partner now.

No! But I don't like Mardy or Max. I want Mahesh and Mark together. This is why I hate doubles.

So:
Julian Knowle & Robert Lindstedt

Marcelo Melo & Bruno Soares
Mickaël Llodra & Andy Ram
Arnaud Clément & Jonathan Erlich
Mahesh Bhupathi & Max Mirnyi
Mardy Fish & Mark Knowles
Wesley Moodie & Mikhail Youzhny

André Sá e Horia Tecau for 2010!

http://www.rosshutchins.net/news/2009/11/30/hutchins-calls-time-on-2009/

In the wake of his split with Huss, Hutchins is now embarking on a new partnership with Romanian doubles No.1 Horia Tecau. The pair have now played five events together and are confident of making 2010 a year to remember.

That's pretty much what he says, yes. He complains they've won only 2 out of their 10 last tie-breaks and says that if they had a better TB record, they would have won 2 titles and he wouldn't have changed again.
Moodie also emailed him to say that he realized he had made a mistake.

Bednarek/Kowalczyk they gonna be in the TOP100 in Monday.

Maybe they will make close scores with ATP level doubles, they're playing so long with themselves and they got only challengers trophys and only two starts @ #250, but in the second attempt they've beat Kubot/Marach. Which this team gonna quite after Wimbledon I think, bcuz there is no longer a good results and Kubot is practicing really rare with Marach atm.
