safin is truly a global darling... he gets wildcards in beijing, in paris... are we sure there aren't any other former winners who need one? :p

Safin won 3 times, does is count more ? lol
But yes, he's the "georges clooney of tennis" (ahahah not for me lol), it helps him a lot...

At least now it's likely to be the last time Safin gets a WC :p
so then there isn't anyone i know in the qualies?

Sorry, I missed a word, I meant "qualies direct entries" (being a Top 240 player should normally let him secure a place at the bottom of the qualifying entry list). I guess I got too excited about the news that you were going to the qualies in Melbourne lol

It's official arno has his WC for the qualies http://www.fft.fr/bnpparibasmasters/2009/?ID=5573 and he entered the doubles with Micka but they don't made the cut so they need a WC. I read that a double WC is already for Grosjean/Santoro so for the last one we'll see.

 you must have been excited, or unless there's a thing like 'qualifying for qualies' which of course is possible, now that arnaud gets a WC for qualies in paris. qualies are now so hard to enter.

i'll check out the qualies list closer to january :)

Well, quite as it was expected.
Grosjean/Santoro won Marseille in 2003, but don't remember them ever playing together more recently, an interesting pairing.

But he's been playing very well lately, finalist in Mons too, so I fear for this match. On the other hand, no one expected Jo to lose from him, so who knows? ;) :p
I like to watch Stakhovsky, but I'm not a big fan like I am an Arno fan. I think he's very gracious in his movements. :) I've only seen him play twice, Rotterdam and Mons.

He didn't even try :o he was not moving. The match has been service winners from both, serve and volley from Arno and a tons of UE of Lopez.

Arno reminds concentrate while he was surely not easy a very correct match by him but Haas will not sleep next round. Many points for Arno in Bercy :)

I don't like this small court, we have not a good general view of the court. On big courts, with the cams we have the impression to control the ball and to know where to put it..lol here we don't know if it's out or not.

Forget is still here... I love him. He's not here just as a captain, arnaud no has any chances to play again in DC, he's here to support him, nice of him. And I saw him to bite his nails like he uses to do it when he's on the chair of captain. LOL

In the FFT audio he says that Novak was really better so the score is normal and to complete some articles where he explains what he learned about the season and the preparation he made in september.

"Cela va beaucoup m'aider, me faire gagner beaucoup de temps.

And news of the child of Bruno it's a boy :) :) read this other interview of Arno who will make the vaccin? for the swine flu to protect the baby. http://www.20minutes.fr/article/362927/Sport-Arnaud-Clement-La-barre-etait-trop-haute.php

Je vais quand-même me faire vacciner.

"The result was very positive. There are many things in perspective too. At the last round of qualifying, I won against a guy who hangs back while he was in front of the score. After I make a good first round and a good match against Tommy Haas (17th worldwide), but Tommy Haas who did not evolve to its highest level. And now I take 2 and 2 ", he modestly summary

There were some very good things, things worse. My review of Bercy is the first time I reach the third round. This is not something exceptional but I'm glad I passed the second round
