Is it Soderling as in

Soaderling as in sodapop/soaked/soap?

I have heard it pronounced both ways by commentators although Sod erling is much more common than Soad erling.

S÷derling = ÷: pronounced like the "u" in "full"

IMO all answers have been good answers. The sound of ÷ isn't used in english but the explanation with "full" was pretty good. I guess the only way to find out the pronunciation is to look at swedish interviews. (if you search on youtube interview is intervju in swedish).

If you want to find out the pronunciation of the letter ÷ then I would recommend wiktionary http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Wiktionary:About_Swedish/Pronunciation . They use ° instead of ÷ but it's the same (same letter in Norway and other countries).

I'm starting to think it's to much information now, sorry about that :P

If you've ever watched one of Robin's matches when Mats Wilander was commentating, you can hear Mats pronounce it correctly. Mats was one of the announcers on many of the French Open matches this year - I think for ESPN, but maybe it was Eurosport? Could catch it on live streaming, in any case.
