Interesting one; Gulbis is the best in the tie (if he shows up), but Slovenia has three very solid players, much better depth.

Kracman refused to play in Latvia, Aljaz Bedene will replace him in the team.

We have such a strong doubles team:rolls:

I was surprised Aljaz wasn't selected first.

Aljaz was supposed to get a WC for Banja Luka Challenger and Kracman, even though he's retired, is still our best doubles player. Since he refused an invitation they simply asked Aljaz to come, then, of course he had to withdraw from Banja Luka;)

Should be an interesting tie. Too bad the Slovenians, after a good year, are now mostly out of form.

Then Kavcic lost ?

This young player has got good results this year, better than Gregorc and Zemlja.

No, but I haven't followed challenger circuit for a while. What has he done? Today he was helpless against Juska...

He has won 2 challengers, he must be ranked around 150 or something.

Well done, boys! :yeah: Back to group 1 !!! :woohoo:

That's such a pity I had to miss our home Davis Cup tie for the 1st time in some last 10 years. Was visiting friends in Russia this weekend and checking livescores on mobile phone each 10min :D

I never thought Andis will make it  Good job!

So happy for Latvia, such courage and fitness shown by Ernests especially on Friday, coming back from 2 sets down with all the pressure on him,and Andis clinching the tie for them is just brilliant:worship:

Aspveicu Latvija:bigclap:

Hope for success and progress in Group 1 this time;)
